MUST WATCH! God's Amazing Divine Appointment by the Seashore/Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat

What an amazing year 2015 has been!
As we look back, we see the fruits through the partners and prayer warriors all over the world that God has brought us. We have had many outreaches in the streets, in the malls, and in the houses. We had a year of many salvations, healings, many baptized / immersed, contacts and followup meetings with new believers in Messiah Yeshua.

"LOVE FOR THE WORLD" BY SCOTT HUCKABY FROM "RAPTURE READY"!!

Love for the World - By Scott Huckaby -http://www.raptureready.com/soap2/huckaby2.html

It continues to amaze me that not all who profess to follow Jesus Christ are excited about His soon return. The top reasons I have found for my fellow Christians being cold toward Bible prophecy can be summarized as love for the world.

This attitude appears to especially be a problem for the church in America because of our prosperity. But this problem is not just limited to the United States; it is also an issue in Europe and generally worldwide wherever Western civilization is embraced.

America's prosperity has lured us into idolatry. Collectively, we no longer believe we have been blessed by God to serve His purpose; instead, the conventional wisdom is that we have reached our comfortable position in life through strictly human achievement.

There is a general attitude today that we have gotten this far without God, so then there is no problem we can't fix given enough time, funding, and focused human will. This attitude is much the same as it was at the tower of Babel.

"Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves" (Genesis 11:4).

Babylon is famous for collective human achievement attempting to usurp the role of God.

Now you'd think we wouldn't have an idolatry problem in the Body of Christ, but the Idol of human prosperity has a big foothold in the American church. Jesus rebuked the Church of Laodicea for their being lukewarm toward Him and thinking their worldly wealth equated to spiritual wealth (Revelation 3:14-22).

Our prosperity has led American Christians to no longer be on fire for Jesus because we don't depend on Him for our daily needs. We may live in the final Laodicean phase of the Church Age but this doesn't mean we have to succumb to being Laodicean believers ourselves.

Loving the world is a characteristic of not being a child of God.

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15).

In context, the world, here refers to the system created by society to manage the world. The world system people have collectively created is one that appeals to our natural selfish human nature. If we allow our selfish human nature to be the guide for our lives, we will find ourselves on a path away from God.

Our selfish human nature seeks the pleasures of this world, that which is attractive, and that which makes us feel good about ourselves.

"For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world" (1 John 2:16).

The three basic sins mentioned in 1 John 2:16 represent all the things that lead us from God. These appeals of the world were the very ones Satan leveraged to tempt Eve in the Garden of Eden and Jesus during His 40-day fast (Genesis 3:6 and Matthew 4:1-11). Society's godless world system is driven by seeking the pleasurable, the attractive, and whatever makes us feel good.

God is the Creator of pleasure, attractiveness and all things good. But it is sin to seek these blessings through strictly human efforts while not regarding them as gifts from God to be enjoyed within His constraints and in His timing.

Society's humanist world loving mindset has crept into the Church today causing many to be lukewarm toward Christ. Many in the Church now take a liberal view of Scripture, no longer seeing the Bible as the inerrant, inspired Word of God but just the story of mankind's search for God. Thus there is less desire to spend time personally studying God's Word.

Why waste time reading the Bible if it is just words of men that are subject to interpretation? Why bother to personally study the Bible if it has to be interpreted for you by scholarly theologians to tell us what God really meant by what He said? And why take any of this too seriously since we can't really know if Bible interpreters are just making things up?

If the Bible is  not the inspired Word of God then people are free to pick and choose whatever doctrines of men they like. And these dogmas change with the mores of society, causing people to be  carried about with every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14).

The only way to avoid being blown about by society's changing winds of doctrine is to be well-grounded in God's Word. And it is not possible to be well-grounded in God's Word unless you have a correct view of the Bible as being inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16).

Another way followers of Christ have allowed love for the world to creep into the Church is to embrace the world's concept of evolution which attempts to explain how the creation could come to be without a Creator. Darwinian evolution is only a theory with no proof but the world has elevated it to the level of scientific truth.

If you don't embrace Darwinian evolution as absolute "settled" truth you are considered by society to be an unscientific hayseed. Nobody wants to be rejected by their peers so this has given rise to followers of Christ figuring out how to fit evolution into Christian theology.

The idea that God used an evolutionary process to bring about the creation is called Theistic Evolution and to believe it requires you to take a pretty liberal view of Scripture. And it joins with the world in rejecting all the scientific evidence that supports the literal Genesis account of creation.

Theistic Evolution can be considered to be within the pale of orthodoxy because it technically has nothing to do with a person's salvation. But theistic evolution does represent a gross compromise with the world that has contributed to the lukewarm attitude toward Christ that characterizes this Laodicean Age.

The problem with being lukewarm toward Christ is that one has to wonder if such individuals are truly children of God or if they are just deceiving themselves. Cultural Christians can talk the talk and walk the walk but don't necessarily have a personal relationship with the Savior. Jesus said He would spew lukewarm Christians out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16).

He also said that many who did great things even in His name would find themselves banished from heaven because, I never knew you (Matthew 7:21-23). If you are truly seeking a personal relationship with the Savior, it is hard to be lukewarm toward Him.

A key indicator of Christians loving the world is Amillennialism. The idea that the kingdom of God will only be a spiritual kingdom until the eternal state is ushered in requires the same spiritualized, liberal view of Scripture that is necessary to embrace Theistic Evolution. The two false doctrines go hand-in-hand and are characteristic of the lukewarm church of this Laodicean Age.

It is hard for Christians who take a liberal view of Scripture to get excited about the return of Jesus. If it took millions of years for Jesus to come the first time, it will probably be millions of years before He returns.

Scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming?'" (2 Peter 3:3-4).

We are told in 1 John 2:17 why we shouldn't love the world system men are building; this world along with even the passion for it-is passing away. Despite the prevailing humanist optimism, people inherently know there is something very broken with this world. No matter what we do, we still have poverty, despair and war in this world.

While most still think we can fix these problems through even more collective effort, we have been trying this and things are getting worse rather than better. Those who put their hope in more and more powerful human governments will have their own crisis of faith because the Bible says these efforts will fail.

We can already see the stage being set for a spectacular failure of the collective human effort. For example, we have been financing our prosperity by immorally building up debt. National and personal debt is a problem worldwide that has reached monumental proportions. Our collective conscience telling us that it is wrong to live beyond our means has been seared.

Debt always leads to bondage (Proverbs 22:7). And there will be consequences whether it is individual or national debt. It is increasingly obvious that there is an economic crash coming that will be so bad the world will demand a global government to fix it.

The only fix true for what ails this world is Jesus Christ; He will make a difference collectively to the world when He returns to establish His millennial kingdom. But He makes a difference to individuals in the here and now when we allow Him to be in our life as Savior and Lord.

Pursuing that relationship enables us to overcome the sin of this Laodicean Age to be resurrected as part of the Bride of Christ when He comes for us prior to the Tribulation that will prepare the world for the millennial kingdom.

The good news is that,  he who does the will of God abides forever (1 John 2:17). The will of God is to trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation (John 6:40). Don't allow yourself to be distracted by allures of creation that would cause you to miss out on a personal relationship with the Creator.

LEA SPEYER FROM "BREAKING NEWS ISRAEL" WITH ANOTHER BOMBSHELL REGARDING THE ROGUE OBAMA!!!

Bombshell Report Reveals Obama Spied on Netanyahu During Iran Negotiations

In a bombshell revelation, the US National Security Agency (NSA), under direction of US President Barack Obama, has been eavesdropping on phone conversations between top Israeli officials and American-Jewish groups and US lawmakers, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
Citing current and former US officials as sources, the Obama administration is believed to have intercepted classified information on Israel’s stance against the Iran nuclear deal to be used against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Among various tactics used by the NSA, spying on Jerusalem included “a cyber implant in Israeli networks,” which would open up access to information in Netanyahu’s office.
According to the report, the NSA informed the White House of Netanyahu’s strategy to leak certain details, which were gathered through Israeli espionage operations, of the US-Iran negotiations that could ultimately put Israel in great peril.
NSA reports, delivered to top Obama administration officials, allowed the White House to gain insider information on Israeli lobbying efforts in Congress to turn away support from the nuclear deal.
The Journal described how Israeli Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer coached pro-Israel groups on how to formulate their arguments in opposition of the Iran agreement when meeting with US lawmakers. An Israeli Embassy spokesman in Washington told the Journal that this was “total nonsense.”
In January 2014, Obama declared that the US would limit its foreign eavesdropping operations on allies following espionage revelations by former NSA contractor and whistle-blower Edward Snowden.
According to the Journal, while a number of friendly leaders such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande were declared off-limits, Obama cited “compelling national security purpose” to continue monitoring Netanyahu.
“Going dark on Bibi? Of course we wouldn’t do that,” a senior US administration officials told the Journal.
Following Israel’s launch of lobbying efforts against the Iran deal on Capitol Hill, the report stated that Obama administration and intelligence officials quickly realized the NSA was gathering the content of conversations between Israel and US lawmakers.
The report revealed that during Israel’s lobbying efforts in Congress, the NSA removed the name of lawmakers from their reports on Israel but passed them on to Obama officials. While a 2011 NSA directive stated communications between members of Congress and foreign intelligence targets must be destroyed upon interception, the NSA director can issue a waiver if he determines “significant foreign intelligence” is contained in the communications.
When asked by the newspaper for a comment, a White House National Security Council spokesman stated: “We do not conduct any foreign intelligence activities unless there is a specific and validated national security purpose. This applies to ordinary citizens and world leaders alike.”
In Israel, Intelligence and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz stated Wednesday that Israel does not spy on the US and expects any administration to do the same.
“Israel does not spy on the US, and we expect that our great friend, the US, will treat us in a similar fashion,” Katz told Ynet news. “If the information on the subject turns out to be true, Israel must file a formal protest with the American government and demand it stop all activities of this kind.”
Former Israeli national security adviser Yaakov Amidror told Army Radio that claims of the US spying on Israel are unsurprising.
“The US listens in on everyone, we don’t need to get excited about it. Everyone knows — it’s a fact,” he said. “Israel is careful not to carry out any spying operations in the United States, not even a little bit.”

"THE TOP 18 BIBLE PROPHECY STORIES OF 2015" BY JAN MARKELL FROM "OLIVE TREE MINISTRIES"!

Top Bible Prophecy Stories of 2015 - By Jan Markell -www.olivetreeviews.org

It's been an amazing year. If you follow any of the Bible prophecy sites, blogs, and media programs, you know they have been overwhelmed with stories that are foreshadowing the time the Bible calls the Time of Jacob's Trouble, also known as the Tribulation.

I know there are those who believe there are no signs for today. I was called on the carpet by a seminary professor --a Baptist, no less -- for heralding signs. He says there are no signs until the Tribulation. Nothing that is happening today is relevant. How tragic. What a disservice he is doing to his seminary students who will be ill equipped to deal with very dark headlines.

So after sifting through hundreds, in fact, thousands of headlines in the last year, I have come up with 18 stories that I feel most represent the herald of His coming:

1)    Israel's worsening isolation. (Zechariah 12:3) The Left in America under Barack Obama abandoned her some years ago. With the defeat of Canada's Stephen Harper, Israel was left only with some evangelical Christians spread around the world. She has no superpower backing.

2)   The "days of Noah" are back. (Matthew 24:37)  Everyone is doing what is right in their own eyes. (Judges 17:6) Lawlessness is the order of the day. Evil is glorified. The White House was adorned with the colors of the homosexual rainbow and Hillary Clinton has a campaign ad with homosexuals engaged in debauchery as she celebrates their actions.

3)   The disillusionment with today's politician is setting the stage for a "man with a plan" who will not be a politician but who will have the answer to all the world's problems. We don't know his name. We know his title is Antichrist. He may be the only one who can stabilize the ISIS crisis being planned for a naive Western world.

4)   The rise of strong delusion. (II Thessalonians 2:10-12). Simply put, God sends a strong delusion to those who choose not to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who take delight in mocking and rejecting Him, He will condemn, confuse their thinking, and cause them to believe fables. And they do!  Islam is good and peaceful; guns are evil; climate change is more dangerous than jihadists; Israel is the bad guy and the Palestinians are the new heroes in the church today; ISIS isn't Islam; Muslim refugees are peaceful and will help the Western world. This is an "Alice-in-Wonderland" world. Christians don't fit. The Mad Hatter rules.

5)   The further decline of America. She is not in the Bible in the end-times. Russia and Iran are the primary players in the Mideast now. America's influence for good is vanishing under Barack Obama. America will blend into global government.

6)    America is being given over to paganism. A few months ago the Hindu goddess Kali appeared on the Empire State Building in New York City. Twenty years ago this was unthinkable. It is now cool.

7)   Israel is being prepared for the Antichrist. She is surrounded by enemies. She has Hezbollah, ISIS, Russia and Syria to the north and East and Hamas to the south in Gaza. Iran boasts daily that she will dump nukes on Israel. At some point she will cave to these threats and call on the Antichrist to make a peace treaty -- particularly in light of the loss of American support.

8)   Gog is now on the move.  If Gog is Russia, Vladimir Putin has re-built her from the days when Ronald Reagan reined her in. Russia is advancing in many places.  All the Gog-Magog nations are aligning and are in the news: Iran, Russia, Turkey, Libya, and more. Prominent Bible-players are moving around as though they were on a chess board.
See Ezekiel 38-39.

9)    Israel has been bombing the suburbs of Damascus taking out concealed weapons. The Bible foretells a time when Damascus will become a ruinous heap. (Isaiah 35:1)

10)   Christians are mocked as never before and Jews are fleeing to Israel at a pace not seen since post WW2.  (Matthew 10:22) Only Islam is glorified, honored, and protected. In the Iraq/Syria region, a Christian is slaughtered every 5 minutes, yet few show any concern. Christianity is being erased from the region of its birth.  All of this intensified in 2015.

11)  The technology giants want to suppress the truth and marginalize Christians.  From YouTube, to Google, to Facebook, to Twitter, and more, the gospel message is censored and evil is glorified. They are preparing the way for "Mark of the Beast" technology. This was on overdrive in 2015. This ministry came under the gun and was censored more than once. Stories reveal that Windows 10 actually spies on emails, credit cards, and more.

12)   There was a cry for a global religion from Pope Francis to the Parliament of World Religions in Utah in late 2015. If the world is ever to be one, religions also must be united.  Pope Francis revealed himself to be an apocalyptic figure in 2015. We cannot "pin the tail of the False Prophet" on him quite yet, but even conservative Catholics are troubled by this Jesuit Pope. In fact, this Pope represents Marxism, environmentalism, the new world order, global government, sustainable development, the Jesuit agenda, unity of faiths, a global constitution, a global court, and a departure from Catholic traditions.  He is surely a harbinger of a global religion.

13)   Globalism went on overdrive thanks to Barack Obama, the United Nations, Pope Francis, and a consortium of worldwide Leftists.  John Lennon, who "imagined" all of this decades ago, would be proud!

14)   The push to make cash illegal intensified in 2015. The move to a cashless society won't happen overnight.  Instead, it is being implemented very slowly and systematically in a series of incremental steps.  All over the planet, governments are starting to place restrictions on the use of cash for security reasons.

15)   Israel's Temple Mount has been a focal point for turmoil this year.  With stage-setting for fulfillment of Bible prophecy during this Church Age winding up, it should be of no surprise that there has been tension on Mount Moriah. That may be the most contested 35 acres on the planet.

16)   This was the year Bible prophecy was mocked and attacked more than ever! Believers in our "blessed hope" were called "End-time Eddies and Esthers." While this has always existed, now more and more prominent teachers are telling us not to waste our time on doom and gloom.

17)    Liberal, Godless Europe imploded. Leaders like Germany's Angela Merkel lost their minds, put their people at huge risk as terrorists took advantage of the "refugee" situation, and have made Europe a time bomb. The Antichrist will take advantage of this as well.

18)   This was the year evangelicals began accepting the gay agenda and some asserted that Allah and Jehovah are the same. The voices from the religious Left encouraged this.  The great end-time falling away has much of the church going over a cliff with results that cannot be rectified.  Finding a solid church became a believer's biggest challenge in 2015.

Things are not falling apart -- they are falling into place. Can you hear the hoof beats of the four horsemen of the apocalypse in the distance?

I won't be silent about the signs of the times. If Jesus chastised the Pharisees for not knowing the signs of His first coming, why would we not be expected to be aware of today's apocalyptic signs?

Wake up, look up, and rise up.

"SIGNS AND WONDERS IN THE LAST DAYS" BY PETE GARCIA FROM "THE OMEGA LETTER"!

Signs and Wonders in the Last Days - Pete Garcia -http://www.omegaletter.com/articles/articles.asp?ArticleID=8168

As of late, there has been much discussion over the convergence of signs that have seemingly been dogpiling each other in recent months and years.  These are they which do not point to the Rapture of the Church, but point to the events that make possible, the events laid out inside the seven year period of time known as Daniel's 70th Week.

As many have alluded to in the past, that if we are already seeing those signs, and the Rapture precedes this last week of years, then we are much closer than we know.  There are two more signs that I believe must be added to this idea of convergence that I've not see much traction on, but would like to bring up for your edification and consideration.

The Supernatural

In writing his second epistle to the Thessalonians, the Apostle Paul was addressing a particular concern from the believers there in Thessalonica that they were somehow already IN the Day of the Lord and had missed the Rapture (Greek-harpazo, Latin-rapio, English-"catching up") that Paul had taught them in his first epistle.  In his original teaching, Paul listed out the chronological order of events that would transpire when the Lord returned to catch up His bride (the Church) back to Himself in 1 Thessalonians 4-5.  The order went as follows;

1.the Lord descends with a shout
2.the voice of the Archangel sounds
3.with the trump of God
4.the dead in Christ would rise first
5.then we who are alive and remain will be translated from mortal to immortal (1 Cor. 15:53-54 clarifies this point)
6.therefore we will recognize the season
7.when unbelievers will be saying 'peace and safety'
8.then sudden destruction falls upon THEM because they wouldn't know and they won't escape
9.but we (believers) will escape, and we know that His coming will be as a 'thief in the night'

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  2 Thess. 2:9-12 (NKJV)

So Paul here in his second epistle to the Thessalonians is telling them WHY they couldn't be in the Day of the Lord (i.e. The Tribulation).  But notice what he says to them in verse 9...that the coming of the Lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders....It is the coming (Parousia) of the Antichrist...not his already arrival and revealing, that would also be marked with power, signs, and lying wonders.  These things will precede his arrival.  Remember that Paul had just previously explained that he (the Antichrist) could NOT be revealed, until the Restrainer was removed;

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed... (2 Thess. 2:7-8)

So follow the logic here:

*The mystery of lawlessness is already at work in our present age but is being restrained by a Being who is both omnipresent and capable of keeping the forces of Satan at bay. (see Job 1:9-12)
*The Restrainer, who is the Holy Spirit, was given for the formation of the Church beginning at Pentecost (yet clearly existed before Pentecost) who indwells and seals the believer's in whom He holds as a 'guarantee' until the day of redemption. (Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30, 1 Cor. 1:21-22)
*That day of redemption is the Rapture of the Church, which happens before the Antichrist can be revealed.  It is in fact the Church's removal, which happens in a twinkling of an eye that allows for the explosion of lawlessness to happen all around the world suddenly.
*Power-Prior to the Rapture, Satan's power will continue to significantly increase and become visible in the last days, because God is allowing it to. (2 Thess. 2:11-12, Revelation 13:11-15)
*Signs-We see and recognize the signs of the times, i.e....those key markers that point towards the visible evidence of us being in the last days, but the world does not see or recognize them. (See 1 Thess. 5:1-9)
*Lying Wonders- the world is becoming increasingly desensitized to violence, sex, the extraterrestrial and supernatural by popular culture, movies, books, and the internet.  The normalcy bias is purposefully and satanically put in high gear these days to prepare the world for what is coming...lying wonders which will cause the world to follow after it.

These things would PRECEED the arrival of the Antichrist.  The signs the world sees may be some spectacular encounter with "aliens" from "outer space", or maybe some dynamic break-through in Artificial Intelligence which revolutionizes the way we live, or maybe both happen simultaneously.  Either way, it will transform and reinforce people's perceptions to the point that they will completely believe the satanic deception, and will deceive those who don't want to know the truth (the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ).

Make no mistake, these 'powers, lying signs, and wonders' will precede the arrival of the Antichrist because he will take advantage of the political, social, and economic chaos that is already ensuing, and ride in on his white horse to 'save the day'.  Of course, he too will have many supernatural tricks up his and the False Prophet's sleeve to woo the masses and absorb the worship this world so desperately wants to give someone, anyone, other than to who it should go too, Jesus Christ.

...And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"  Rev. 13:3-4

This man (Antichrist) will come in through the power of Satan, and will give the world what it wants initially; to the Greeks, wisdom, and to the Jews, signs.  (1 Cor. 13:12)  He will through cunning deceit and understanding dark knowledge solve the complex problems of the world and will be successful at it because his father (Satan), is currently running this planet and he will make everything work out for him...for a season.  (Luke 4:4-6, 1 John 5:19)

Jesus warned on three separate occasions in His Olivet Discourse not to fall prey to deception.  You can bet that whatever is coming on our horizon will be deception on a grand scale unlike the world has ever seen.  But the grand deception isn't all just for show, initially, it will serve two purposes; the first is to mask the "Rapture event" with some other kind of narrative and secondly, to give single-mindedness to the cause for the world to set aside their differences and unite as one.

This means that "Christians", Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists, Satanists, Wiccans, Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, Vegetarians and meat lovers will all set aside the things that divide them and come together because whatever just transpired will so shake the foundations of the world systems that they feel as though they have no choice.  Adding the supernatural to the mix will only amplify that impetus to unite and get behind one man.

These signs and wonders will absolutely unify the apostate, ecumenical church in the last days into believing that what they are a part of, has 'real' tangible power, and this will solidify in their minds, that they are right.  But in this final apostate conglomeration of world theological and philosophical belief systems, will be the 'odd-man out', Judaism.  Orthodox Jews will still be staunchly against any ideations to unite, so there has to be some kind of exclusionary clause for them.  This may come in the form of a proposal to rebuild the Jewish Temple either where the Dome of the Rock is currently sitting (potentially if it gets destroyed in some type of conflict), or to rebuild it in its original spot (as the Tabernacle) in Shiloh.  It could also be rebuilt in part in conjunction with the Dome of the Rock as they both stand together side by side.

Division

Another sign that often gets overlooked is how utterly splintered Christianity is today.  Consider back to Christ's day as a microcosm of today. In Christ's day there were also many splits within Judaism between the Essenes, Sadducees, Pharisees, Zealots, and the varying members from the 12 tribes still there in Judah.  There was also the Samaritans, Idumeans, Romans, and the Greeks all mixing it up there as well.

Now, seeing as the last four groups were of Gentile ethnicity and not a part of Judaism per say, they did bring with them pagan idolatry and western philosophies (think Gnosticism) that influenced their societies.  So even then, you had all these competing worldviews right around the time that Christ appeared on the scene for the first time, which is partly to blame for the lack of understanding of the signs of their times and recognizing when exactly the Messiah would arrive.  It took some Parthian magi "wise men" to show up for the birth of the 'One born King of the Jews' to shake things up. (Matt.2)

Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, 'It will be fair weather, for the sky is red'; and in the morning, 'It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. Matt. 16:1-4

Conclusion

It is no great wonder then why so much confusion reigned when Christ did come.  Judaism had splintered many times over with each camp claiming they were correct in their interpretation, so much so, that by the time Christ did come, the overwhelming majority of people didn't know, or didn't care about a coming Jewish Messiah.  (See Luke 19:41-44) It was one thing for the Romans to not know or not care, but the Jews had the Scriptures available to them which pointed to 108 separate prophecies pointing exactly to the when, where, why, and how of their Messiah would come.  Even when Christ was in their midst, they (the religious authorities from the two main camps) didn't believe it.  It has become that way again, which is how we know Christ returns for His bride is near.  The Rapture of the Church will catch most of Christendom (even the bonafide believers) unawares.  (Rev. 3:3)

Understandably, there is a great deal of speculation on this author's understanding of what is to come.  The truth is, we won't really know what happens exactly until it comes to pass.  We can have a general understanding, which is what I hope I have conveyed.  But, my understanding, or misunderstandings, in no way diminishes the reality that it will come to pass as promised.  I, like you, 'see things through a glass, darkly'.  And as much as the OT Prophets failed to see a 2,000 year "Church Age" that brought both Jew and Gentile together as one new man making up the body of the Messiah, so to do we struggle to see what will happen in that final week of years (Daniel's 70th Week).

We struggle to see it because that time was not meant for us as the Church, and we will not be here to experience it.  If we were, the Epistles would lay that out for us, but they don't.  Our job now, is to watch, warn, and reason with those who are not, so that some might come to know Christ as Lord and avoid this coming time that Jesus said would be unparalleled in human destruction and misery. (Matt. 24:21-22)

Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.  Revelation 3:3

"THE FUTURE BELONGS TO GOD" BY JACK KINSELLA FROM "THE OMEGA LETTER"!

The Future Belongs to God - Jack Kinsella - www.omegaletter.com

More than 2600 years ago, the Prophet Isaiah recorded a challenge hurled by God to all those who laid claim to Divinity, saying,

"Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together." (Isaiah 41:23)

While many have picked up the challenge, including Mohammed, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell, William Miller, Harold Camping, etc., all have failed to meet God's exacting standard of 100% accuracy, 100% of the time.

Consider what it means for Ezekiel to describe, 2500 years in advance, the geopolitical alliances of the 21st century. It was only sixty years ago that the world was at war -- the alliances described by Ezekiel didn't exist until that war forced them into being.

The Scriptures say that the 'hairs on your head are numbered' -- multiply that times every single person who ever lived. Every single one of them had free will choices and the choices made by our ancestors, no matter how far back we go, shaped the world we live in today. The same one foretold by the prophets.

Hebrew prophets named alliances between nations that didn't exist in their world, and in some cases, didn't exist until this generation.

Let's take a look at ten prophecies in the process of fulfillment in this generation. A lot of this is covering old ground to long-time Omega Letter readers, but it is worth taking a second look.

1. 'Take heed that no man deceive you'

"And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matthew 24:3-4)

It's often been said that the 'devil's greatest trick is convincing people that he doesn't exist'. Deception has been raised in this generation to an art form. We expect to be deceived by our politicians, our entertainment, advertisers and the media.

2. An increase in disasters and wars.

"And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. " (24:6)

World War One and World War Two were cataclysmic events that shaped the 20th century, but they were domestic disputes in comparison with what World War Three with the Soviet Union would have looked like. For fifty years, the two sides were locked in ideological combat in what history calls the Cold War. Every morning for fifty years, each side woke up wondering if the Cold War would turn hot -- the ultimate rumor of war -- that ended only a decade ago. But, as Jesus noted, see that ye not be troubled, for the is not yet. And it wasn't.

3. The great "Falling Away".

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

In this generation, being labeled a Christian 'fundamentalist' is almost a criminal charge. The very phrase "Christian fundamentalist" conjures up images of wild-eyed crazies stockpiling weapons against the end of the world while plotting the best way to blow up abortion clinics.

4. "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." (Daniel 12:4)

Until the beginning of the 20th century, very few commentaries existed on either Daniel or the Revelation. Both were considered to be filled with metaphors and symbolism. Even Calvin and Luther passed up the challenge. The words were 'sealed UNTIL THE TIME OF THE END'.

In this generation, the mysteries of Daniel and Revelation are largely unlocked.

Columbus sailed to the New World 1500 years after the Apostle Paul made his Meditterraneanjourney. Both sailed on wooden ships equipped with sails, as did ships until the end of the 19th century. One hundred years later, the same trip takes a few hours by air. 1900 years to get from Paul's ship to the 'unsinkable' Titanic. Sixty years after that, Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. We certainly can go 'to and fro'.

Moore's Law says that computer capacity doubles every 18 months. Knowledge is increasing at an exponential rate. There is technology being developed to make computers out of strands of DNA.

5. "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." (Matthew 24:12) -- Anybody else notice how many parents are murdering their children lately? Each of you can make as strong a case for the increasing tolerance of sin and the collapsing moral structure of society as eloquently as I can.

6. The emergence of the antichrist.

Daniel says that the antichrist's seminal act of power will be to make peace between Israel and her neighbors. Until this generation, there was no Israel to be at war. Today, the effort to bring peace is the single most important foreign policy goal of the US, EU, UN and Russia -- who together form the "Quartet" that developed the current 'road map'. The world is crying for a leader who can solve the global problems of the Middle East, terrorism and outlaw nations. Today. In this generation.

7. Earthquakes, Famines, Wars and Pestilences --

Matthew 24:7 speaks to all of these as being like labor pains -- growing in intensity and frequency as the time approaches. Earthquake activity is demonstrably on the increase, while ethnic wars rage across Africa and entire populations face starvation at a time when other countries are throwing leftovers in the garbage.

The entire sub-Saharan continent of Africa is facing extinction by the pestilence of AIDS -- while the technology exists to arrest it. We can make computers out of DNA strands, but the earthquakes, famines, wars and pestilences just keep getting more intense.

8. As it was in the days of Noah and Lot (Matthew 24:37, Luke 17:28-30)

"And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually" (Genesis 6:5) That wickedness is the hallmark of this age can be proved by picking up a newspaper.

What could be more wicked than deliberately blowing up a bus filled with children to make a political statement?

Television could be described as 'imagination in a box'. We are entertained by vicariously participating in the story line. What entertains us the most? According to the box office receipts, murder, mayhem, war, destruction, occultic fantasy and sex.

Lot lived in Sodom, a place where homosexuality was rampant and widely accepted as an acceptable alternative lifestyle. Today, we have parades for homosexuals in drag, or in various stages of undress, flaunting their wickedness to the enthusiastic applause of the audience. (Romans 1:32)

9. "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14)

Right now, some of you are reading these words in South Africa. Others in the UK. Still others in New Zealand, Australia, Mexico City, Vancouver, Nigeria and Bahrain. That's just the Omega Letter subscribers. There are literally thousands of Christian websites doing the same thing, with the same global reach. Soon, there will be no corner of the earth that the Gospel has not penetrated. Jesus said that once that happens, THEN shall the end come.

10. "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (Matthew 24:24) I could make a list. But so could you.

Bible prophecy is both the proof of God's existence and the assurance we have of our salvation. "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" (2 Peter 1:19)

The same Voice that proclaimed, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11) also proclaimed, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28)

Bible prophecy is not gloom and doom, but is instead hope and a blessed assurance. It is proof positive that God remains on His Throne and that He WILL do all that He has promised. Including the following:

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore, comfort one another with these words." (1st Thessalonians 4:16-18)
