Declaring A New Palestinian State is an “insane” move and a “futile effort.” says US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee

 In an exclusive interview with CBN News' Paul Petitte, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee discusses the importance of the Sept. 9th United Nations General Assembly gathering in New York, and why countries wanting to declare a Palestinian state is an “insane” move and a “futile effort.” 

Huckabee explains what needs to change for Israel to win the global public relations battle and why the war against Hamas is a fight against "the most demonic forces ever unleashed on this earth."

Huckabee hopes that Americans, and especially Christians, will come to understand that the war with Hamas is much bigger than a fight for territory in the Middle East.

"This is a battle of the ages," he told us. "This is not horizontal. It's not left, right, liberal, conservative. This is a vertical battle. It's Heaven versus Hell. It's good versus evil. People need to see it in that context, or they'll miss the whole thing."

A very dangerous geopolitical chess match is playing out right in front of our eyes. As I discussed yesterday, France and Saudi Arabia will co-chair “the Conference on the Two-State Solution” at the United Nations on September 22nd. The goal of this conference is to create an unstoppable wave of international momentum toward the creation of a Palestinian state. Israeli officials are very upset about this conference, and they are considering annexing large portions of the West Bank in response. If that happens, Israel’s Islamic neighbors will go absolutely berserk and a catastrophic war could break out in the Middle East. So let us hope that cooler heads prevail, because we are rapidly approaching a point of no return.
