As Trump Considers Iran’s ‘Total Annihilation’, Tehran’s Regime Launches Mobilization Campaign Targeting Child Recruitment

The war in Iran has moved to the forefront of the global stage, having a dramatic impact on the world economy and geopolitics. The impact has been most substantial in the Middle East and the Gulf states. The U.S. economy is being affected by skyrocketing oil prices, contributing to escalating inflation.

With the midterm elections rapidly approaching, the Iran war seems to be hanging like a millstone around the neck of the President and the Republican Party.

In his recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump focused on the future of Iran, laying out various options to end the conflict. While the President clearly desires a peaceful resolution, at the other end of the spectrum, he contemplated the “total annihilation” of Iran, readying for an all-out assault if no deal is reached by the midterm elections. President Trump hinted that upcoming elections on November 3rd will be a tipping point.

Where Is America in Bible Prophecy?

Dr. David Bowen - www.interpretingthetimes.com

What Happens When America No Longer Leads? What if the result isn’t another superpower, but global chaos?

For most Americans alive today, there has been one assumption about the world that seemed almost permanent: America leads. For generations, the United States possessed an extraordinary combination of military strength, economic power, technological innovation, diplomatic influence, and cultural reach. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, America stood virtually alone as the world’s dominant superpower.

Today we are slowly witnessing a redistribution of global power. China is rising. Russia continues to challenge the Western security order. Europe is searching for greater strategic independence. Regional powers are becoming increasingly assertive. Nations from what is called the “Global South” are seeking alternatives to Western influence.

Flydubai passenger describes putting attacker in chokehold after cockpit stabbing

Passengers on a flight to Israel have recounted how they subdued a pilot after he stabbed the other pilot and appeared to be trying to disable the plane, while others described the "terrifying" moment they thought they would die.

Appearing in a bloodstained shirt after the ordeal, Yaniv Hayun told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu he realised something was wrong when the aircraft suddenly dropped.

The plane, en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, plummeted 17,000ft (5,200m) in less than two minutes. "Someone screamed... the light went out," Hayun said in a video posted by the prime minister on social media.

He and others tried to push open the cockpit door, but the pilot who had been stabbed was very close to it, so it was hard to open. Before he collapsed, the injured pilot managed to open the door.

When Hayun and another man entered the cockpit, he said he saw one pilot down and the attacker on the instruments, between the two seats, "trying to destroy the instruments in order to...disable the plane".

"I grabbed the attacker, put him in a chokehold, and pulled him - first and foremost - outside," Hayun said. "We pulled him out; it was a matter of seconds. I called out to the Israeli guys with us on the plane - I called them, and two other guys came over to me... we pinned [the attacker] down to keep him secure."

'Hero' pilot stabbed by other pilot on Israel-bound plane, Israeli PM says

A pilot has been arrested after he stabbed the other pilot on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv and "apparently tried to crash the plane", Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said.

Passengers and crew overpowered the attacker and retook control of the Flydubai aircraft, landing it safely at an airport in Tabuk, northwestern Saudi Arabia, with more than 170 people on board.

The passengers, who were almost all Israeli, arrived later on Wednesday in Tel Aviv on a repatriation flight.

The stabbed pilot, named as Indian national Captain Smit Machchhar, has been taken to hospital but is reported to be in a stable condition. Netanyahu and India's leader Narendra Modi praised him as a "hero".

"Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster," Netanyahu wrote on X.

"He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals."  The Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia said Machchhar was in a stable condition in hospital.

Modi praised the pilot's actions, writing on X: "In the face of the gravest danger and despite being seriously injured, he showed immense courage and an unwavering resolve to protect the lives of others.

"India is proud of Captain Machchhar."

The Necessity Of The Pretribulation Rapture Of The Church – A Message On The Last Days

The Pretribulation Rapture of the Church is not someone's private interpretation or opinion, it is Bible doctrine taught to us by the apostle Paul

We live in the last days, the end times. I remember years ago sitting in Bible Study on a Tuesday night, talking about when Bible prophecy would begin to start to be fulfilled, and thinking that it would happen "one day, someday". Guess what, Christian? You're living in it, welcome to One Day, Someday. Are you ready?

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:17 (KJB)

The Pretribulation Rapture is not an interpretation or anyone's opinion, it is Bible doctrine. The teaching of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church did not originate under John Nelson Darby, Mary McDonald, Clarence Larkin or anyone else. It comes to us from the apostle Paul writing through the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit. This message was preached live at the Northside Baptist Church in Lake City, Florida on 09/29/26. I pray it will help you to prepare for what's coming.

China has cracked down on AI relationships. Is it ahead of the game, and especially America?

In early 2024, a young man in the city of Huangshi, south-eastern China, reportedly posted a message on the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin. The caption read: "Farewell to this world."

Within minutes, the suicide prevention team at Douyin kicked into gear. The team, which is staffed 24 hours a day, shared the man's posts with five police stations in Huangshi. After geolocating one of his videos to a local park, police found him in emotional distress and intervened before he was able to take his own life.

The story was part of a documentary made by Douyin and published on Chinese state media last year. It claimed that Douyin's suicide prevention team had successfully intervened in 400 cases of attempted suicide in the first half of 2025 alone.

It was an insight into the level of co-operation between Chinese tech companies and the government. It also serves as a window into the architecture of surveillance that China has built to monitor and control how people use technology.

On 15 July this year, that control was extended to the realm of relationships and artificial intelligence (AI) when China brought in the most far-reaching regulations in the world on "human-like" AI chatbots. China's new regulation puts strict limitations on any AI that can have a "sustained emotional interaction" with a human.

UK believes Iran involved in RAF Fairford incident, Burnham says

The government believes that Iran played a part in the RAF Fairford incident which resulted in five men being arrested and then bailed, Prime Minister Andy Burnham has said.

"There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford," he told the BBC. He did not provide further details.

Iran has responded, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi saying the UK leader was "barking up the wrong tree". "I can confirm Iran's belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all," he wrote on social media.

Asked why the suspects had been released on bail - a decision which has been openly questioned by President Donald Trump - Burnham insisted the men were subject to the "strictest possible bail conditions".

Speaking at the White House on Monday, Trump said: "I will tell you, I would have said, 'don't let them have bail'. I'm surprised that they released them. I wouldn't have done that." But Burnham said: "I think people need to understand that when it says released - that isn't as people might think. It's obviously with the strictest possible bail conditions.

"The authorities have this under the strongest grip and closest control, and I can assure you of that." Burnham's comments come after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Monday that the incident at RAF Fairford "clearly involves the hands of a foreign actor".

Russia launches largest attack on Ukraine energy infrastructure since spring

Russia has launched the largest attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure since the spring, primarily targeting Kyiv and the surrounding region, Ukraine's Prime Minister has said.

At least five people were killed in overnight attacks across the country, including a child in the Kyiv region, Serhiy Koretskyi said.

The strikes also impacted people's power supplies, with Ukraine's biggest private energy firm DTEK saying power to 8,000 homes had been restored following "a difficult night" for the capital. The Russian defence ministry said one of its targets was the Trypilska power station, the largest supplier of electricity to Kyiv. The operator confirmed damage to the plant.

Koretskyi wrote on Telegram: "Since the summer, there has effectively not been a single day without enemy attacks on our energy infrastructure. "However, a mass and combined attack of this scale has occurred for the first time since the end of the last heating season."

Ukraine has been expecting another protracted Russian assault on the country's energy grid. It has happened every winter so far since Russia's full-scale invasion began in 2022.

In total, 11 regions of the country were attacked overnight, with residential buildings, social infrastructure, civilian enterprises and railways also targeted, Koretskyi said. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said there had been strikes on critical infrastructure in the Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad and Rivne regions.

On Wednesday, some households in the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Sumy and Kharkiv regions remained without power, Ukraine's energy ministry said. State-owned grid operator Ukrenergo advised residents not to use powerful electrical appliances between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 local time as electricity supplies were lower than usual.

Putin shows no sign of stopping the war as Russia doubles down on Ukraine

When Vladimir Putin arrived to address Russia's parliament on Wednesday, a warm welcome was guaranteed.

"The Special Election Operation", as one Russian newspaper dubbed last month's legislative vote, has produced a State Duma even more pro-Putin than anything before it.

The ruling party, United Russia, now has more MPs than ever. It allows the Kremlin to claim it has been handed a huge mandate from the Russian people. For what? How will Putin use it? Are there any signs he is prepared to halt what he calls the special military operation? Or should we brace for further escalation in Ukraine and in tensions with Europe?

On Thursday I'll be watching to see whether Russia's leader sheds light on his plans during an appearance at the Valdai Discussion Club in Moscow. Traditionally the president's speech at this annual foreign policy forum provides insight into Putin's world view.

Right now, everything points to Putin continuing Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine: despite his country's huge battlefield losses to date and the damage being done to Russia's economy. Putin's speeches and statements suggest he remains confident that Russia can secure a military victory.
