Abraham Accord Fever Begins To Sweep Across Middle East As Bahrain Becomes Latest Muslim Nation To Normalize Relations With Israel

Bahrain is set to be the next Gulf country to normalize relations with Israel, a senior Israeli official told Israel's Kan 11 News Wednesday.

The Abraham Accord is beginning to catch fire across the Middle East, with the Muslim nation of Bahrain agreeing to sign on to the peace covenant. Master architect of the deal, Jared Kushner, says to expect as many as 20 Muslim nations to become part of the Abraham Accord over the next two months. President Trump is on record as saying he believes that Saudi Arabia will join up as well fairly soon. What could possibly go wrong?
"Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:" Isaiah 28:15 (KJB)
Here's a little fun fact: In order for the United Arab Emirates to agree to join the Abraham Accord, Israel was required to make a teeny, tiny, little, baby-sized concession first. Israel had to agree to no longer seek to apply annexation on Judea and Samaria. Ouchies! Oh, one more thing, the UAE gets to purchase F-35 fighter jets, which would effectively erase the military edge in air superiority that Israel enjoys at the current moment. But other than that, hey, it's a great deal. Oh Daniel, chapter 9 is needed at the customer service counter.

Bahrain Set to Normalize Relations With Israel

FROM WASHINGTON FREE BEACON: Washington looks to mediate the peace talks between Israel and Bahrain and hopes to hold the official normalization ceremony before the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah, according to the official.
The report follows the historic peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, which was brokered by the United States in August. Like the UAE-Israel deal, the normalization of relations between Bahrain and the Jewish state would likely entail a series of economic and security ties. Just last month, Bahrani prime minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa reportedly spoke with Mossad chief Yossi Cohen.
"Israel is historically part of the heritage of this whole region," Bahraini foreign minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa told an Israeli television outlet last year. "So the Jewish people have a place among us."
In the wake of the Emirati peace deal, Trump administration officials hope other Gulf states will normalize ties with Israel as part of an anti-Iranian coalition. Last month, President Donald Trump said that he believes Saudi Arabia—which boasts one of the largest defense budgets in the world—will also sign on to the UAE-Israel agreement. READ MORE
