IT IS BECOMING THE CONCENSUS THAT WE ARE WATCHING THE PROPHECY OF DANIEL 8 BEGINNING IN IRAQ RIGHT NOW!

New post on P2ALM It’s becoming the consensus we are watching the prophecy of Daniel 8 beginning in Iraq by p2alm Students of prophecy are beginning to reconsider previous interpretations of Daniel 8 and for good reason. When Daniel tried to understand the vision given to him, he wrote that an angel... ...came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end." [Daniel 8:17 NASB] Daniel was specifically told this vision was in reference to the time of the end. As we see today's headlines concerning Iran entering Iraq in the Middle East, consider where Daniel was taken when this vision began: I looked in the vision, and while I was looking I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam; and I looked in the vision and I myself was beside the Ulai Canal. [Daniel 8:2 NASB] He was beside the Ulai Canal in Susa which is modern-day Shush in Iran. As he was watching, he saw a ram invading from the east: Then I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a ram which had two horns was standing in front of the canal. Now the two horns were long, but one was longer than the other, with the longer one coming up last. I saw the ram butting westward, northward, and southward, and no other beasts could stand before him nor was there anyone to rescue from his power, but he did as he pleased and magnified himself. [Daniel 8:3-4 NASB] Historically, the ram was the Persian Empire. Today it is Iran. As I write this, the world is watching Iraq fall into chaos as Iran eagerly volunteers military assistance and places boots on Iraqi soil. All of this has greatly expanded the already raging Sunni/Shia war that has been waging in Syria as Sunnis and Shiites fight for control of the Middle East in order to establish their respective brand of a revived Islamic Caliphate which is, according to Bible prophecy, the kingdom of the coming Antichrist.
