Israel kills Hamas commander behind October 7 Kibbutz Re'im slaughter and reveals he was a worker for UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA

Israel and UNRWA confirmed the death of Mohammad Abu Itiwi on Wednesday

  • It was revealed he had been employed by the aid agency in Gaza since July 2023
  • The agency has been accused by Israel of having many employees who double as members of Hamas and other armed groups

After an investigation, the UN in August admitted that 12 UNRWA staff were possibly involved in the October 7 attacks and fired them.

But Itiwi was one of more than a hundred people Israel claims worked for the UNRWA while simultaneously acting on behalf of Hamas or other militant groups.
