Starmer's decision to recognise a state of Palestine could lead to UK paying £2trillion in reparations

Keir Starmer's controversial decision to recognise a state of Palestine could lead to demands for the UK to pay more than £2 trillion in reparations to the country, legal experts have said.

Sir Keir has said the UK will press ahead with the move, which is expected to be announced ahead of his visit to the UN this week, unless Israel meets certain conditions, including agreeing to a ceasefire in Gaza and reviving the prospect of a two-state solution.

It has been condemned by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch for 'rewarding terrorism', while the US Government says that it will have 'disastrous consequences'Keir Starmer 's controversial decision to recognise a state of Palestine could lead to demands for the UK to pay more than £2 trillion in reparations to the country, legal experts have said. Now legal experts have warned that it could also be a costly decision – because the new country would ask for eye-watering damages in compensation for land 'taken from the Palestinian people' when Britain relinquished control of the region after the Second World War.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who has a long history of threatening to sue Britain, is demanding 'reparations in accordance with international law' based on the value of the land which was under British rule between 1917 and 1948.

Some international law experts have described £2 trillion, roughly the size of Britain's total economy, as a 'good place to start'.

Families of the hostages abducted by Hamas in the October 7 attacks have written to the Prime Minister to condemn the decision, which they claim has 'dramatically complicated' efforts to be reunited with their relatives.

In an open letter to Sir Keir, they said: 'Your regrettable announcement of the UK's intention to recognise a Palestinian state at the United Nations General Assembly has dramatically complicated efforts to bring home our loved ones.

'Hamas has already celebrated the UK's decision as a victory and reneged on a ceasefire deal. We write to you with a simple plea - do not take this step until our loved ones are home and in our arms.'

MidEast & Beyond: Antisemtic Conspiracies, God’s Chosen People, and the UN’s Useless ‘Moral’ Theater

The memorial service for Charlie Kirk is on Sunday, which will be held in State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. I have no doubt it will be a powerful time as we in attendance celebrate the life of this young, godly patriot whose life and death have done so much to change America and the world.

Times of remembrance and celebrations of Charlie Kirk’s life have already been held across the globe. His stand for truth, both political and spiritual, are inspiring the younger generation to stand up and be noticed. In the United Kingdom this past week, two million British patriots marched against open immigration and for conservative values. Notice, I wrote that they marched, not that they rioted or looted or lit anything on fire. The impact has been felt here in Israel where huge banners have been put up in honor of Charlie. In Netanya, the mayor announced that one of the city’s main squares is going to be renamed in honor of him. And in the United States, Turning Point USA, the organization that Charlie Kirk launched, 54,000 inquiries have been received asking to begin new Turning Point chapters as of the time of this writing.

America Is Reaching a Boiling Point

by Michael Snyder - https://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/america-is-reaching-a-boiling-point/

I am deeply saddened by what is happening to our country. America is reaching a boiling point, and it appears that we have entered a new era of civil unrest in which political violence will become the norm. At this moment in our history, we should all be denouncing political violence as loudly as we can. Unfortunately, there are many voices that are loudly calling for more political violence. I have been warning that this time would come for so many years, and now it is here.

The “left” deeply hates the “right”, and the “right” deeply hates the “left”. But how is a bitterly divided nation supposed to thrive? How is it even supposed to survive? Those that founded this country shared a common set of core values, but today there are no core values that still unite us, because the core values that our founders believed in so strongly have been abandoned. In fact, in so many ways America is now the complete opposite of what our founders intended. Decades ago, we would laugh at the pathetic nations that were constantly plagued by political violence. Now we are one of those nations.

Wicked Hearts

Nathele Graham - twotug@embarqmail.com

“For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.” Psalm 11:2.

He was a good man, a man who loved God and served Him to the best of his abilities. His name was Stephen. He lived in Jerusalem when Christianity was beginning to grow. There always seems to be some sort of division within the Christian community, and so it was in the early days of Christianity. “And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.” Acts 6:1.

Will the Trumpet Sound This Year? Prophetic Hopes And The Feast Of Trumpets

The Feast of Trumpets is nearly here (Sept 22), and across social media the anticipation is electric. Thousands of believers are posting videos, writing articles, and filling comment sections with one burning thought: Could this be the year the trumpet sounds and the church is caught up in the air?

It's not hard to see why excitement is high. The convergence of world events, the prophetic timeline of Israel, and the mounting chaos in global politics all stir the sense that time is running short. Many point to prophetic dreams, others to hidden codes in Scripture, and still others to the obvious pattern: Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts with exact precision at His first coming--so why wouldn't He fulfill the fall feasts with the same accuracy at His return?

It's a compelling case. And yet, while the anticipation is healthy, the declarations of certainty are not. God calls us to watch--but He does not call us to set dates. This Feast of Trumpets is an opportunity to learn, to expect, and to wait with patience--
not to speak where God has spoken.

Why So Many Expect the Rapture Now

Those proclaiming that the Rapture might occur on the Feast of Trumpets point to several arguments: The Feast's very name. It is the only feast associated with the blowing of trumpets, and Paul said we would be caught up "at the last trumpet" (1 Corinthians 15:52). The imagery is powerful.

The Jewish idiom. Ancient rabbis called the Feast of Trumpets "the day that no man knows the day or the hour," because the new moon had to be sighted before it began. Jesus used the same phrase in Matthew 24:36 when describing His return. Coincidence? Perhaps not.

The prophetic calendar. Jesus died on Passover, was buried on Unleavened Bread, rose on Firstfruits, and sent the Spirit on Pentecost--all on the exact feast days. If the first four feasts were fulfilled literally, why wouldn't the next three follow the same pattern?

The urgency of the times. From the rise of globalism to the technological systems that could enable the "mark of the beast," from Israel's wars to the worldwide push for peace treaties, the prophetic puzzle seems close to complete. It's not hard to see why people are excited. The case for a Feast of Trumpets Rapture is deeply rooted in both biblical imagery and prophetic expectation.
The Pattern of the Feasts

But here is where we must pause and turn to Scripture. The biblical feasts, outlined in Leviticus 23, were not just Jewish traditions; they were God's prophetic calendar.
Passover - Jesus, the Lamb of God, was crucified at the very hour Passover lambs were slain.

Unleavened Bread - His sinless body was buried, fulfilling the picture of bread without leaven. Firstfruits - He rose from the dead on the feast of firstfruits, the "firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep" (1 Corinthians 15:20). Pentecost (Shavuot) - Fifty days later, the Holy Spirit was poured out, beginning the harvest of the church. Fulfilled to the letter. Not symbolically, not vaguely--exactly.

That leaves the final three:

Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) - A day of blowing trumpets, signaling gathering, repentance, and kingship. Many see this as pointing to the Rapture.
Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) - A day of judgment, fulfilled when Christ returns to judge the nations and deliver Israel.

Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) - A joyous feast of God dwelling with His people, pointing to the Millennial reign. The precedent is clear: Jesus fulfilled the first four feasts perfectly, and He will fulfill the final three with the same accuracy. The only question is--when?

not to speak where God has not spoken.

The Fig Tree Blossoms: Israel's Population Growth And The Prophetic Clock

Despite war, terror, and pressure from every side, Israel is not shrinking - it is thriving. Even more astonishing, tens of thousands of Jews from around the world have made aliyah (return to Israel) over the last year, answering a call that is both national and deeply spiritual. Why does this matter? Because every new family arriving in Israel is more than a statistic - it is another piece falling into place on God's prophetic timetable.

Doctrine Of Demons: Progressives Twist Ruth And Naomi Into Lovers

The apostle Paul warned that in the last days many would depart from the faith, "giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons" (1 Timothy 4:1). We often think of that passage in terms of obvious heresies or pagan practices. But today, those doctrines are not coming from temples of idols--they are coming from pulpits across America.
