Hashkama #52 - Blood Red Moons

I was attending a Feast of Tabernacles conference in London in 2012 organised by Barry and Batya Segal when I first heard about the ‘blood red moons.’ The guest speaker was Lance Lambert. If I remember correctly, Lance thought the red moons were significant signs from God, but wasn’t sure what the signs were for, wars perhaps or something else. I don’t remember exactly but he said something like, “We are entering into 3 years of unparalleled crisis and only the Lord can deliver Israel. There is something huge in the wings, some huge, mammoth prophetic event is going to be fulfilled in these next 3 years.”

I didn’t hear anything further about the blood red moons until John Hagee took up the subject in a big way, writing a book, “Four Blood Red Moons” and producing DVDs on the subject.

According to the NASA Website, the lunar eclipses will occur on:

• Passover April 15th, 2014
• Feast of Tabernacles October 8th, 2014
• Passover April 4th, 2015
• Feast of Tabernacles September 28th, 2015

The solar eclipses also occur on Holy Days:

• Adar 29/Nisan 1(New Year) March 20th, 2015
• Feast of Trumpets September 13th, 2015

Mark Biltz, a pastor with El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Washington State, USA appears to have been the originator of this present frenzy; he too has written a book and produced DVDs “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs.” “All these signs, coming together at one time, are potentially the culminating signals that God is closing this chapter of human history,” he said. “This could be the final curtain call before the Great Tribulation mentioned in the Bible. God has always wanted to warn His people, and the rest of the world, before He intervenes. What better way to communicate to us than through the universal language of heavenly signs that speak to every tribe, tongue, and nation?”
