"CHRIST AT THE CHECKPOINT" BY MATT WARD FROM "RAPTURE READY"!!

Christ at the Checkpoint, 2016 - By Matt Ward -http://raptureready.com/soap2/ward51.html

Roughly 600 Christian pastors and leaders from a variety of nations recently met in Bethlehem for the Christ at the Checkpoint 2016 conference, a biannual gathering increasingly aimed at  delegitimizing Israel. The theme of this 2016 conference was, "The Gospel in the Face of Religious Extremism."

When they talk at this conference of "extremism," the participants aren't talking about the Islamic extremism running rampant across the Middle East, extremism that even John Kerry recently said was guilty of genocide. When they use the word "extremism" in this conference, it is in reference to Judaism and the State of Israel. In the eyes of many who attend this conference just by the mere fact of its existence, the Jewish State is an "extreme" one.

Bethlehem Bible College are the hosts, an institution caught up in the pro-Palestinian narrative, and the thoroughly unbiblical Replacement Theology belief system. This theology has been used for two thousand years to defame the Jews and most recently, the State of Israel.

The conference schedule reveals whole segments focused on topics such as, "The Challenge of Christian Zionism." It seems odd that a conference addressing issues of "extremism" would also be addressing issues of "Christian Zionism," unless of course the aim is to undermine Christian support for Israel and in so doing, subtly (or not so subtly), label it as an extremist belief in itself. Including a segment such as this in a conference like this, is akin to not only demonizing Israel, but also the Christians who support her.

Amongst other speakers, Munther Isaac, an organizer of the conference presented a paper titled, "Christian Zionism as Imperial Theology." Hank Hanegraaf, the famous "Bible Answer Man," will also presented a paper titled, "A Gospel Response to Christian Zionism."

Christ at the Checkpoint's constant contention that Christian Zionism is wrong and that Christians who love and support Israel are misguided at best and nefarious apostates at worst, needs to be challenged. Many of the statements hidden deep down within the core theology of CATC 2016 disturb me. Theology and beliefs found in its Manifesto like;

*  "Any exclusive claim to land of the Bible in the name of God is not in line with the teaching of Scripture"
*  "Racial ethnicity alone does not guarantee the benefits of the Abraham Covenant."
*  "For Palestinian Christians, the occupation is the core issue of the conflict."
*  "The Kingdom of God has come. Evangelicals must reclaim the prophetic role in bringing peace, justice and reconciliation in Palestine and Israel."

I support Israel because God supports Israel. I love Israel because God loves Israel, and directly tells me too as well, (Genesis 12:3). Despite their best efforts at CATC 2016, Israel is going nowhere. It is the Bible itself that is clear on this point.

Multiple Old and New Testament prophecies in the Bible refer to the modern State of Israel. One of the most consistent prophetic themes in the Bible itself is that at the end of days Israel will once again be back in its land, re-gathered from the nations of the earth. This will be a unique experience, highly distinguishable from other previous returns of Israel to its historical land.

This return will occur in the "latter days." We are in these "latter days" today, though none at CATC 2016 would acknowledge that. The Bible is also clear that when Israel is brought back into the land for the final time, they will remain in that land forever.

Jeremiah 31:38-40 states:

"The days are coming," declares the Lord, "when this city will be rebuilt for me from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. The measuring line will stretch from there straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn to Goah. The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown, and all the terraces out to the Kidron Valley on the east as far as the corner of the Horse Gate, will be holy to the  Lord. The city will never again be uprooted or demolished."

"...the city will never again be uprooted or demolished..." This fulfilled prophecy can only refer to the modern State of Israel. It cannot refer to the first Jewish return at the time of Ezra and Nehemiah as this return resulted in Diaspora in 70 A.D.

After Ezra and Nehemiah, the city was once again uprooted and demolished. In 70A.D., the Tenth Legion of Titus smashed Israel, scattering the Jewish people to the four corners of the world, uprooting and demolishing them. This means that the modern State of Israel can only be the direct fulfillment of this key Old Testament prophecy.

Jeremiah also quite plainly tells us that once Israel returns in fulfillment of this prophecy, they are there forever. Iran or ISIS will not change this. Christ at the Checkpoint certainly will not change this. Israel is going nowhere.

Isaiah 11:11-12 tells us:

"And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth."

Again, as with Jeremiah, this reference can only refer to the modern State of Israel, not to the return under Ezra and Nehemiah because Isaiah tells us the Lord will recover his remnant a  second time. The first time Israel was re-gathered was under Ezra and Nehemiah. This can only be in reference to May 14th 1948, when Israel became a nation again after the Diaspora, for the second time.

Isaiah also tells us here another important piece of information. He tells us that this re-gathering will be from "...the islands of the sea..." and "...from the four corners of the earth." The first re-gathering under Ezra and Nehemiah was from captivity in Babylon, not from the all the nations of the earth.

The only time Israel has been re-gathered from the "...the islands of the sea," and from, "...the four corners of the earth," was in 1948, when the Jewish people returned from a worldwide Diaspora.

So why then does Christ at the Checkpoint preach that the modern State of Israel is not legitimate? Their teaching is directly contradicted by the word of God itself which states that the re-gathering of Israel is a deliberate, purposeful act by God.

Do the speakers at Christ at the Checkpoint know this, or am I mistaken somehow?

The famous nativity story of Luke, so overlooked by students of prophecy, assures us of Israel's future. After the angel greets Mary with the famous lines, "...Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you," (Luke 1:28), he continues by explaining how Mary will "...conceive and give birth to a son." (Luke 1:30).

What is often overlooked is that the angel went onto tell Mary in v.32-33 that, "...he will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob's descendants forever; his kingdom will never end."

At Jesus' first coming this did not happen. In fact, the opposite happened. Jesus did not take the throne of his father David and He never physically reigned over Israel, yet this prophecy tells us that His reign will, "...never end." Jesus' reign is yet future, which means that Israel's current existence can be no fluke.

Yet according to Christ at the Checkpoint 2016, when the King does return, he will have to be content with ruling from a nation that is not legitimate. Not much of an inheritance for a King then, is it?

Ezekiel

Ezekiel gives us further clues indicating that modern Israel will never be uprooted again. In Ezekiel, the prophet makes reference to the re-gathering of Israel at a time when, "...David My servant will be their prince forever."

Ezekiel says:

"Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel... I will bring you into the land of Israel... I will put My Spirit within you and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that I, the LORD, have spoken and done it," declares the LORD...

Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land and I will make them one nation in the land... They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons and their sons' sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever." (Ezek. 37:11-12, 14, 21-22, 25)

Ezekiel here discusses prophecy related to Israel that is also  yet future. David is not yet their Prince again. This must mean that God intends Israel to be back in their land again, meaning that God is not finished in His dealings with the Jewish people.

Israel is not a fluke of history, nor have they stolen the land from others, nor are they an apartheid state. Israel are exactly where they are today because God intends it to be so. For this prophecy to come about the modern State of Israel clearly needs to exist in the future so that David can reign once again.

Hosea

Israel's return to the land and God's provision for them is also clearly defined in Old Testament metaphor. It is simply not possible for God to allow Israel to be uprooted or destroyed again after their final re-gathering, and here is why.

The prophet Hosea in his book presents a picture of God dealing with Israel in their rebellion. Hosea tells us that God means to restore Israel to their ancient land. Hosea is commanded by God to marry Gomer and together they have children, but Gomer, his wife, is an adulteress and sleeps with many other men. Hosea therefore abandons Gomer. In chapter 3, Hosea is commanded to re-take Gomer as his wife,  despite her infidelities and obvious failings.

This is a picture of God's faithfulness in the face of unfaithfulness. God chooses Israel and marries her but she commits spiritual adultery with the religions of the nation's surrounding her, so God casts her out, but only for a time. Afterwards God re-claims Israel as his wife, not because she deserves this by her own merit or faithfulness, but because God is compassionate and because God loves her.

Hosea 3:5 explains how at the time of the end the Israelites will return to Israel and will seek God politically and religiously as their King,

"Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the  Lord their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the  Lord and to his blessings in the last days" (Hosea 3:5).

These days in which we live are the last days spoken of by Hosea, and just as he prophesied, the nation of Israel has been brought back to their land again. God is once again, out of his love for Israel, turning his face back towards her, first by bringing Israel back into the land and next by making Israel seek him politically and religiously. He will accomplish this soon through the Ezekiel 38/39 War and ultimately in the Tribulation period itself. The stage for both these events is being set right now.

All Israel will eventually be saved (Romans 9). That the beginnings of this process is clearly occurring in Israel today, with the rapid rise in the number of Jews choosing Yeshua as Lord and Savior, is clear. This also indicates that the rapture of the church is close at hand as this gentile age draws to a close.

To accept the point of view of the speakers at Christ at the Checkpoint 2016, and believe that Israel lacks legitimacy, is to question the integrity of scripture and prophecy itself.

Yet many speakers at, Christ at the Checkpoint, do openly denigrate and refuse to teach Bible prophecy. They do so because prophecy completely contradicts their world view and their message. The Bible taken as a complete whole contradicts their message and world view.

Ultimately, it is a question of who you chose to believe. Will you believe the words of man or the word of God Himself?

For myself, I will reply as the great Israelite leader Joshua did before me,

"But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15).

Amen. May God abundantly bless His holy inheritance, Israel.

ALTARS TO BAAL WILL BE ERECTED IN NEW YORK AND LONDON IN APRIL - THEN IN EVEN MORE MAJOR CITIES AROUND THE WORLD!! THE END TIMES ARE SURELY HERE FOLKS!!

It's Not Just Times Square—Altars to Baal Will Be Built Around the World

The Temple of Baal
The Temple of Baal (Bernard Gagnon)
Join us on our podcast each weekday for an interesting story, well told, from Charisma News. Listen at charismapodcastnetwork.com.

The reproductions of the 50-foot arch that stood at the Temple of Baal in Palmyra, Syria, that will be erected in New York City and London next month will only be the first of many. As you will see below, it turns out that there are plans to put arches in hundreds more cities all over the globe. The organization behind this is the Institute of Digital Archaeology, which is a joint venture between Harvard University, the University of Oxford and Dubai's Museum of the Future. The initial arches from the Temple of Baal that will be erected in New York and London as part of UNESCO's World Heritage Week in April are intended "as a gesture of defiance", but ultimately the plan is to share this "cultural treasure" with as many cities around the planet as possible.
If you go to Times Square in New York or Trafalgar Square in London late next month, you will not be able to miss these giant arches. According to the New York Post, they will be 48 feet high and 23 feet wide.

APPALLINGLY - THE EVIL UNITED NATIONS NAMES ISRAEL AS THE WORLD'S TOP HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATOR!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? A CLEAR SIGN OF THE LAST DAYS AND THE END TIMES WE NOW LIVE IN!!

New post on Now The End Begins

United Nations Names Israel As The World’s Top Human Rights Violator

by Tricky Dicky

According to the United Nations, the most evil country in the world today is Israel.

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Genesis 12:3 (KJV)
On March 24, 2016, the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) wrapped up its annual meeting in New York by condemning only one country for violating women’s rights anywhere on the planet – Israel, for violating the rights of Palestinian women.
On the same day, the U.N. Human Rights Council concluded its month-long session in Geneva by condemning Israel five times more than any other of the 192 UN member states.
There were five Council resolutions on Israel.  One each on the likes of hellish countries like Syria, North Korea and Iran.  Libya got an offer of “technical assistance.”  And countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia and China were among the 95 percent of states that were never mentioned.

No slander is deemed too vile for the U.N. human rights bodies that routinely listen to highly orchestrated Palestinian versions of the ancient blood libel against the Jews.

In Geneva, Palestinian representative Ibrahim Khraishi told the Council on March 24, 2016:  “Israeli soldiers and settlers kill Palestinian children. They shoot them dead. They will leave them to bleed to death.”  And in New York, Palestinian representative Haifa Al-Agha told CSW on March 16, 2016:  “Israel…is directing its military machinery against women and girls. They are killing them, injuring them, and leaving them bleeding to death.”
Operating hand-in-glove with governments and the U.N. secretariat are the unelected, sanctimonious NGOs, to which the UN offers free facilities and daily advertisement of “side-events.”  In theory “materials containing abusive or offensive language or images are not permitted on United Nations premises.”
In practice, in Geneva the UN permitted handouts that claimed Israel “saw ethnic cleansing as a necessary precondition for its existence.”  A film accused Israel of sexual violence against children and “trying to exterminate an entire Palestinian generation.”  Speeches focused on the 1948 “catastrophe” in which a “settler colonial state” was established on Palestinian land.
The New York CSW-NGO scene included a film set in in the context of Israeli “oppression” and the “tear gas of my childhood,” and statements analogizing the experiences of Palestinians to today’s Syrian refugees.
Picture these real-life scenes:
  • In Geneva’s grand U.N. “Human Rights” Council chamber, 750 people assembled, pounced on the Jewish state, broadcast the spectacle online, and produced hundreds of articles and interviews in dozens of languages championing the results.
  • On the ground, Israelis are being hacked to death on the streets, stabbed in buses, slaughtered in synagogues, mowed down with automobiles, and shot in front of their children.
  • At the New York’s UN headquarters, 8,100 NGO representatives gathered from all corners of the globe, in addition to government delegates, and watched the weight of the entire world of women’s rights descend on only one country.
  • On the ground, Palestinian women are murdered and subjugated for the sake of male honor, Saudi women can’t drive, Iranian women are stoned to death for so-called “adultery,” Egyptian women have their genitals mutilated and Sudanese women give birth in prison with their legs shackled for being Christian.

Isn’t it about time that people stopped calling the U.N. a harmless international salon or a bad joke?

The poison isn’t simply rhetorical.  One of the Council resolutions adopted last week launches a worldwide witch-hunt for companies that do business with Israel – as part of an effort to accomplish through economic strangulation what Israel’s enemies have not been able to accomplish on the battlefield.  The resolution casts a wide net encompassing all companies engaged in whatever the U.N. thinks are business “practices that disadvantage Palestinian enterprises.”
And the toxicity is self-perpetuating. Acting at the beck and call of Islamic states and their conduit – French Ambassador Elizabeth Laurin and Council President Choi Kyonglim selected Canadian law professor Michael Lynk as the newest U.N. “independent” human rights investigator on Israel.

Lynk’s qualifications?  He has likened Israelis to Nazis, and challenged the legitimacy of the state of Israel starting in 1948 as rooted in “ethnic cleansing.”

All of this played out in the same week that Europe was reeling from the Belgian terror attacks.  Petrified or already vanquished, no European state voted against this onslaught of U.N. resolutions against Israel.  Germany and the United Kingdom occasionally abstained, while France voted with Arab and Islamic states on all but one Council resolution.
Here we are just 70 years after World War II and Europeans believe that they can license this vitriol against the Jewish state – the only democracy on the front lines of an Islamist war against human decency – and the consequences can be contained to the Jews.
Even as the converse stares them in the face.  Two days after the Brussels attacks, Islamic states rammed through a Council resolution slyly labeled “Effects of terrorism on the enjoyment of all human rights” that was actually so anti-human rights even Belgium was forced to vote against it.
As for the United States, the Obama administration has been the Human Rights Council’s most important supporter.  Though the U.S. is currently in a mandatory one-year hiatus -- after serving two consecutive terms -- President Obama plans to bind his successor by running again in the fall for another three-year term that starts January 1, 2017.
Memo to Americans who are mad as hell: It's time to elicit a promise from our would-be leaders to refuse to sit on the U.N. Human Rights Council or to legitimize the United Nations. source

"Homosexuality is now taking over America, as the church continues to play spiritually dead" By The Dynamic Dr John McTernan!!

New post on John McTernan's Insights

It’s open season on people of faith in Georgia

by John McTernan and Georgann Ryan
I've posted some tremendous articles showing how sin in advancing to takeover entire nations. Homosexuality is now taking over America, as the church continues to play spiritually dead. There really is no political hope for America because the foundation is now rotten with sin. There is little of God's fire from the preachers, so the nation will continue on the destructive course of God's judgment.

"THE LAST OF THE LAST DAYS" BY BILL PERKINS FROM "COMPASS INTERNATIONAL"!!

The Last of the Last Days - Bill Perkins - www.compass.org

10 Unmistakable Signs That We're in The Last Days of the Last Days

Today things are moving so fast it's helpful to just step back, take a breath and look at the numerous Bible prophecies being fulfilled all around us. Here are 10 big prophecies that should convince anyone with 2 brain cells that we're definitely living in the last of the last days!

1) Israel Back In Their Homeland

"Say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; Ezek. 37:21

Bible prophecies regarding the latter days begin and end with Israel. Until God regathered Israel back to their homeland, most latter-days prophecies could not begin. But return they did. In the late 1800s, after almost 2000 years of worldwide dispersion, the Jews began filtering back to their original God-given land.

In 1917, at the end of WW1, the Balfour Agreement gave the Jews a legal right of return. And on May 14, 1948, the United Nations declared Israel a sovereign nation.

2) Israel Is A World Problem

"It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. Zech. 12:3

The Bible not only promised Israel would return to their God-given land, but that this tiny nation would also become a burdensome stone to the world. Hardly a day goes by that Israel's not in the news. Israel has a population of about 8

You can barely see Israel (red) in the
middle of a Muslim dominated land.
million, the Arabs about 450 million.

Every American administration since Israel became a nation in 1948 has tried and failed to secure a lasting peace in the Middle East. The national news has a continuous dribble of problems regarding Israel and the Middle East, usually making Israel out to be the problem.

This ultimately ends with every nation on earth coming against Israel in the Tribulation Period. Toward the end of the seven-year Tribulation period, the Antichrist will bring together the world's armies to "kill the Jews." But their Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, will return to earth and save them from annihilation.

3) Homosexual Perversion

"...and they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have relations (intercourse) with them." Gen 19:5

"For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah." Matt. 24:37

"It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed." Luke 17:28-30

The Bible says that the days before the Rapture will be "just like"  the days before God destroyed the earth with a global flood. And also just like the days before He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. One of the distinguishing characteristics specifically mentioned was widespread homosexual sin. God will again judge homosexual sin in the future.

Always know that homosexual behavior IS sin. Homosexuals are not born that way, rather they CHOOSE to be. Much like a thief can't stop stealing without the transcending power of God, a homosexual can't repent/turn from his/her sin without the power of God. Murder, stealing, adultery, homosexuality, etc., ARE clearly defined as SIN by God's Word. God defines sin, not the government!

Today, homosexual rights are on the front-burner of the politically-correct push to bring the perversion out into the open as normal, incorrectly equating their demands with the push for black rights in the 60s.

But comparing homosexual rights to civil rights is not an apples-to-apples comparison because homosexual behavior is a choice and black skin color isn't. That fact seems to be lost in the rhetoric as God-given and constitutionally protected rights of Christians are tossed out the window while homosexual perversion is elevated to "normal" status.

4) Cashless Society

And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the freemen and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Rev. 13:16-17

A recent survey (1) said only 10% of Americans always carry cash. The worldwide movement toward electronic payments has been breathtaking. For most of those reading this article, if our bank unexpectedly froze our accounts, we'd be in deep trouble.

With banking now tied worldwide we're obviously not too far from one person literally being able to control the world. And that's where we're headed... to a point where one person will have total control of all transactions on earth.

5) Russian / Iranian Coalition

"Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him" Ezek 38:2

"I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; Persia, Ethiopia and Put (Libya in some translations) with them, all of them with shield and helmet;" Ezek 38:4,5

"After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.  Ezek 38:8

Amazingly the Bible predicts that Gog/Rosh (Modern day Russia) will invade Israel from the north with Persia (Modern day Iran) as one of her principal allies. So it's not surprising that today Russia and Iran are becoming so militarily close.

Also keep in mind that the above prophecies, written 2700 years ago, pinpoint this time to be after Israel comes back into their land in the latter days.

6) Nuclear Weapons

And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him. Rev. 6:4

Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. Zech. 14:12

How would you have described a nuclear bomb 2,500 years ago? John and Zechariah had to do just that! All they knew was that it was huge and quite destructive! So destructive that flesh melted off their bodies before their bones hit the ground!

That sounds exactly like a neutron bomb that's designed to vaporize the people and leave the buildings intact.

7) Increase In Knowledge

"But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." Dan.12:4

"The chariots race madly in the streets,
They rush wildly in the squares,
    Their appearance is like torches,
They dash to and fro like lightning flashes." Nah. 2:4

The Internet has become the modern-day purveyor of information as you pretty much have access to anything and everything at your fingertips.

Ease of local or worldwide transportation by car, plane, train or ship is considered normal. Nahum 2:4 sounds like the prophet is looking down on a busy intersection at night.

8) Mockers denying Jesus' Second Coming

"Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation." 2Pet 3:3,4

Denying the clear Biblical doctrines of the Lord first returning in the Rapture is a SIGN of the Rapture. The dispensational model for scripture interpretation is the only consistent way to know what God says to us in His written word.

Yet over 80% of the "Christian Church" in the world is A-millennial in their theology, which is a basic denial of the Rapture.

Notice this is not a verse talking about non-Christians, but because it mentions "fathers" and God's "creation," it's referring to Christians living in the last days!!

9) 144,000 Jewish Evangelists Identified

"And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:" Rev 7:4

"And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased from the earth. These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they have kept themselves chaste. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from among men as first fruits to God and to the Lamb."  Rev. 14:3,4

This puzzling prophecy says God will choose 144,000 Jewish men and reveal Himself to them on Mount Zion in Jerusalem (different from Mount of Olives and Mount Moriah). Most interestingly, these men are virgins.

I wrote an article a few years ago identifying these men as the unmarried Rabbinical Jews between the ages of 18 and 30. Today they're estimated to number approximately 150,000, and their ranks are growing. (Click here to read the entire article.)

10) Israel's Deserts Blooming

"In the days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will blossom and sprout, and they will fill the whole world with fruit."  Isaiah 27:6

"The wilderness and the desert will be glad, and the Arabah (desert) will rejoice and blossom; Like the crocus it will blossom profusely." Is. 35:1,2

The Bible prophesies that the parched and desert land of Israel will bloom profusely. In the late 1800s, Mark Twain commented that there was hardly anything green in the land.

The Turks of Ottoman Empire who controlled the land for 400 years had heavily taxed trees on property. So most people cut down all their trees to avoid paying the tax!

Since the Jews began returning in earnest in the late 1800s, the Jewish National Fund has planted over 250 million trees throughout the country (which is roughly the size of Vermont).

Jordan River today

One of the most amazing things we see in Israel today on our Bible trips is the incredible and colorful blooming vegetation in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea--the lowest point on earth.

The drip system allows Israel to export $65 million in dates each year from trees grown around the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth.

Israelis invented the drip system that enables as little as a cupful of water to bountifully nourish a whole tree for a day. Using this method in the desert has literally caused it to bloom in the last 50 years. They now export fresh fruit and vegetables via plane to Europe every day but Saturday (Shabot).

And the next big prophecy to be fulfilled:

Israel Discovering Great Riches

"Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, 'Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?'"' Ezek 38:13

The Bible says there will be great riches discovered in the land. The riches are so great that sovereign nations band together to invade and take the riches. This is unfolding before our eyes!

Israel has discovered huge gas fields inland and off-shore her coasts. And as they say in Texas, "where there's gas, there's oil." So it's only a matter of time.

Over 500 oil wells have been drilled in Israel to no avail. But recently Israel struck oil, and it's a whopper. It's over 10 times the average size of oil wells in the world and will provide billions of gallons of oil a year, far exceeding the needs of Israel.

As more wells are tapped into this massive reserve, Israel will become a major oil supplier to Europe and North America. Do you think this will sit well with the Arabs? They already seethe at Israel's success in rebuilding a great nation in only 50 years. They're going to go bonkers!

And the prophecy also mentions gold and silver riches. As the Dead Sea dries up, could it expose more and more unseen riches?

Trust me, when Israel is able to supply oil at a lower price from a closer delivery point (the eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea), the Muslims will go nuts.

And if Israel also discovers gold and silver, the Arabs will wet their collective pants. So Israel's discovering great riches is closely tied into prophecy #2 above, Israel being a burdening stone to the world!

BDS Anyone?

Another point of contention worth mentioning between Israel and the world is the ridiculous attempt to pressure Israel through BDS, or Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel movement.

This laughable campaign by brain-dead liberals fails to make sense when one realizes how many incredible products Israel contributes to the world. Who would want to give up their smart phone?

Thankfully, many states are now passing anti-BDS laws. Colorado has recently joined Florida, Tennessee, New York, Indiana and Pennsylvania in passing anti-BDS legislation. Another 30+ states are reportedly considering similar legislation.

BDS makes ludicrous claims!

The bottom line is that you have to be dumb as dirt to support BDS. If you're not up to speed on the stupidity of the BDS movement, watch this short video called "BDS or the Bible?"

Therefore, yes, I obviously believe we're living in the last of the last days. These 10 prophecies (there are of course a lot more!) prove the end of the current dispensation, the Church Age, is near. It will end with the Believers' exhilarating exit, shedding our present sinful containers.

To a trusting-the-blood Believer, seeing so much Bible prophecy coming together should be an exciting incentive to ask the Lord for His wisdom for being sensitive to the leading of His Spirit to reach our lost family, friends and co-workers with the Good News. And Good News it is!!!
