YOM KIPPUR UPDATE - Two Now Dead in Manchester Synagogue Attack, with suspect also believed to have been killed - police

 Two people have died after a car and stabbing attack at a synagogue in Manchester - here's what we know so far

• A third person - thought to be the suspect - is believed to be dead after being shot by police

• Police say the suspect's condition cannot be confirmed due to "suspicious items on his person", with a bomb disposal unit at the scene 

  
  
  

• Three other members of the public are in a serious condition, with police saying a "large number of people" were worshipping at the synagogue - today is Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar

• Police were called to the Heaton Park Synagogue at 09:31BST by someone who witnessed a car being driven towards members of the public, and one man stabbed

• One witness tells the BBC the police gave the suspect "a couple of warnings - he didn't listen so they opened fire"

• Keir Starmer has ended a trip to Denmark early, and says there will be extra police deployed at synagogues across the country

• Jesus strongly encouraged his disciples (the Church) to be aware of the myriad of indicators or ‘signs’ that His return was imminent… this is our generation that He was specifically speaking to.

Three 'Hamas terrorists' are arrested in Berlin for 'planning attacks on Jewish and Israeli sites'

 Three suspected members of Palestinian militant group Hamas were arrested in Berlin Wednesday for allegedly planning attacks on Jewish and Israeli sites. 

The suspects were 'foreign operatives' of Hamas, who have 'have been involved in procuring firearms and ammunition for the organisation', according to federal prosecutors. Police also seized weapons and ammunition during the arrests.

It comes as it was revealed Hamas leaders are split over whether to accept Donald Trump's Gaza peace deal, with the terrorists unable to agree on whether to give up their weapons.

Trump's plan, backed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas within 72 hours, the group's disarmament and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.

But a Palestinian source close to the group's leadership told AFP that some officials want amendments to Trump's 20-point plan, particularly on the question of demilitarisation.

Other members of the terrorist group are ready to offer their unconditional approval of the deal, while some factions totally reject it.

Hamas negotiators held discussions Tuesday with Turkish, Egyptian and Qatari officials in Doha, the source said, requesting anonymity to discuss sensitive matters and adding that the group needed 'two or three days at most' to respond.
