I Would Not Want To Live In A World That Did Not Contain The Absolute And Authoritative Preserved Word Of God As Found In The King James Holy Bible

I believe the King James Bible is inerrant, inspired, and is in fact the preserved word of God, something I cannot say about any of the modern versions which have been published since 1611. Do you have the words of God? I do.

That was a very bold headline, no doubt about that, please allow me to explain what I mean by it. First of all, I do not consider myself a Fundamentalist, Baptist or otherwise, I am a Bible believer in the truest sense of the word, who happens to also be a Baptist. I was King James only from the day I got saved, March 14th, 1991, and would not even learn that there was a Bible version "controversy" until about 2 and a half years later. I didn't know a lick about Ruckman, Hyles, Roloff, Bob Jones , John R. Rice or any of the others. The only Person who lead me to become a "King James man" was the Holy Spirit, and I am so thankful that 30 years later that remains the same. In 2022, I am happy to be in the thick of the battle, telling this lost world that God has preserved His word without error, and to help make it available to anyone and everyone who needs it.

"And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God." Jeremiah 23:36 (KJB)

In our day, there are literally hundreds of different versions of the Bible, and the all have only one thing in common, they are all different. Compare the King James Bible to any other version, including the "new" King James, and you will see at a minimum hundreds of changes, alterations, additions and deletions, and in some cases like the NIV and ESV, those changes run into the thousands. You don't need to be a linguistics expert or Greek scholar to understand that things that are different cannot be the same. If you take regular bread and add to it cinnamon, vanilla and raisins, you haven't made bread with a "couple of extras", you have now created raisin bread which is fundamentally different from regular bread. If you don't think that's true, just try it on your next tuna sandwich and see how different it is.

"I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name." Psalm 138:2 (KJB)

Back to the headline. I believe the King James Bible is inerrant, inspired, and is in fact the preserved word of God, something I cannot say about any of the modern versions which have been published since 1611. I can find mistakes and errors all day long in the NIV and the ESV, but in 30 years of reading the King James I have found none. Zero, zilch, nada and nothing. The fact that I am born again and I can hold in my hands God's preserved word, and know for certain what this life is all about is truly the only thing that makes it worth living. Everything else grows old, wears out, gets sick and dies, everything but God's word that endureth forever!

"Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever." Psalm 119:160 (KJB)

We started the NTEB Free Bible and Gospel tract program where we gave away in 2021 over 11,000 King James Bibles to people who needed them but couldn't afford them, and that thrills me to my very soul. That is something that will make it through the Judgment Seat of Christ, no doubt about it, and all of you who pray for that program and who donate to that program will share in that. I am very happy that the Lord led us to start the Bible Believers Bookstore so we can put material in people's hands to defend the King James Bible as God's preserved word. How about you? If you and I were having coffee together right now, and I asked you to show me God's preserved word, could you do it? Could you prove it? If you call yourself a Bible believer, it's a requirement and not an option. If you believe the King James Bible but can't defend it, you've only done half a job. If you believe some other version, you know you can't defend it on any basis other than your own personal preference. The best-selling NIV and ESV have holes so big you would drive a semi through the middle of them.

"Where the word of a king isthere is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?" Ecclesiastes 8:4 (KJB)

In 2022, I challenge you to bring your "strong reasons" to the King James Bible and see how they stack up.

The war is REAL, the battle HOT and the time is SHORT...TO THE FIGHT!!!
