Israel's far right find fertile ground among first-time voters

When Israel's far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, reached voting age, he was rejected from Israel's army for being too politically extreme.

His views have not changed much in the 30 years since then - but Israel has. Once shunned by the political establishment, he is now part of the government's inner sanctum of ministers.

On the campaign trail ahead of Israel's general elections next week, Ben Gvir is often surrounded by a jubilant pack of fresh-faced young fans, waving huge party flags over the heads of his numerous security guards.

At the covered market in Ramle - a mixed city of Jewish and Arab Israelis - he told us his message to young voters was to get out and vote.

"We see the support, we see the love [and] we want to win!" he said. FULL REPORT AT: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cmvg632xgndeo

“Mostly Peaceful” Seas and Waves Roaring

“Mostly Peaceful” Seas and Waves Roaring

Terry James - https://terryjamesprophecyline.com/2026/10/18/mostly-peaceful-seas-and-waves-roaring/

A significant prophetic indicator is in full view that warrants notice at this late hour of this dispensation. Jesus Himself gave it as part of His Olivet Discourse:

Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. (Luke 21:24–25)

Memory doesn’t have to go far back into recent history to remember how hatred for President Donald J. Trump caused great rioting in the streets of America.

We remember how reporters for mainstream news stood in front of all the rioting. In the background, buildings, cop cars, and even the so-called Church of Presidents in Washington, D.C., were burning.

Daily Jot: Noah and the Messiah: Saved from Judgment

Bill Wilson – www.dailyjot.com

Noach (Noah), Genesis 6:9-11:32, tells of a world so consumed by wickedness that God determined to destroy it by a great flood. Yet Genesis 6:8 declares, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” God instructed Noah to build an ark, preserving his family and representatives of His creation. After the flood, God established a covenant, marked by the rainbow. Humanity soon rebelled again at Babel, prompting God to scatter the nations. Yet His plan of redemption continued through Abraham, whose descendants would bring forth the Messiah. Within Noah’s story is a remarkable picture of God’s judgment, His mercy, and His promise of salvation.

The Hebrew name Noach is associated with rest and comfort. Noah’s father declared, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands” (Genesis 5:29). The Hebrew word Menachem, meaning comforter, is also identified in Jewish tradition with the Messiah. Jesus told His disciples that the Father would send another Comforter, the Holy Spirit (John 14:16). Peter draws a connection between Noah’s deliverance and salvation through Christ in 1 Peter 3:20-21. Eight souls were saved through water, foreshadowing baptism and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Significantly, Noah’s ark had one door. Jesus likewise declared in John 10:9, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.”

Jesus Himself connected Noah’s generation with His return. Matthew 24:37-39 describes people eating, drinking, and marrying until Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and took them all away. Consider who was taken and who remained. The wicked were swept away in judgment, while righteous Noah and his family were preserved. In Jesus’ comparison, those taken by the flood experienced judgment. Those preserved experienced salvation. The passage deserves careful examination in its context, especially when interpreting Christ’s warning about His coming. The central message is unmistakable: God’s judgment is certain, and His provision for the faithful is assured.

Peter reinforces this understanding in 2 Peter 2:5-9, connecting Noah’s deliverance with God’s ability to rescue the godly while reserving the unjust for judgment. Noah lived through the flood, protected within the ark God commanded him to build. The same God who judged a corrupt world provided refuge for those who trusted Him. Today, the world again wrestles with rebellion, moral corruption, and disregard for its Creator. Yet the promise of salvation remains through Yeshua the Messiah, the true door to eternal life. Noah’s story reminds us that judgment and redemption are inseparable themes throughout Scripture. As 2 Peter 2:9 declares, “Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.” Maranatha!

Franklin Graham: Jesus Is Coming Back… And It’s Not Going to Be Far Down the Road

By Breanna Claussen - https://harbingersdaily.com/franklin-graham-jesus-is-coming-back-and-its-not-going-to-be-far-down-the-road/

During a lengthy sit-down interview with Fox News Sean Hannity, evangelist Franklin Graham boldly detailed to a largely secular podcast audience the list of extraordinary evidence showcasing that our world is living in the season of Jesus’ return.

Hannity, who subscribes to Roman Catholicism, softly noted his skepticism, telling the son of the late Billy Graham that he finds Revelation “the most difficult book of the Bible to understand” and “scary.”

“You once said to me that you think the end times are at hand,” Hannity began, “but didn’t the apostles think that?”

Prophecy Update: Hal’s Snap Analysis

By Daymond Duck - https://www.raptureready.com/2026/10/17/hals-snap-analysis-by-daymond-duck/

On Oct. 8, 2026, Pres. Trump said, “We will not be attacking Iran at any time prior to the midterm elections to be held in the United States on Nov. 3.”

The JewishInsider Daily Kickoff wrote:

The president’s comments could be taken with a grain of salt: In June 2025, he suggested that the U.S. was pursuing diplomacy a day before joining Israel’s attacks on the Islamic Republic, and earlier this year, he said he had not decided on whether to attack Iran, hours before the U.S. and Israel launched coordinated military strikes that took out the top echelon of Iranian leadership.

Here is Hal Turner’s Oct. 8, 2026 Snap Analysis:

Iran has publicly assured the entire world that if they are attacked again, “It’s all-out war” and that they will “target all US bases, US Allies in the region, all Oil Infrastructure in the region, and US Bases outside the region.”

Ukrainians dying because US restricting intelligence sharing, Zelensky adviser says

Ukrainians have died because Kyiv is still not receiving reliable US warnings of incoming Russian attacks, according to a key adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov told the BBC that lives had been lost because there had not been time to warn citizens about ballistic missile strikes, saying: "It's dangerous... I think it's really very bad... People [have] already died."

The adviser also said restrictions to Ukraine's use of the Starlink internet network were ongoing. The White House said there had been no changes to intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

Ukraine first reported an interruption to US intelligence sharing last week, as a row with the Trump administrations over its controversial deal to import Russian oil sent relations to new lows. Despite the denials from Washington, many in Kyiv suspect the issues are not a coincidence.

On Monday morning, Zelensky wrote on social media: "Overnight two ballistic missile attacks were reported on the capital, one without warning, the second with only minimal time to take shelter."

Hours earlier, an interview the president did with NBC was published, in which he said intelligence sharing had been restored after a three-day pause.

"We are very thankful for this," he said. "Only [the] United States has this unique intelligence to tell our side when Russia uses ballistic missiles." But Beskrestnov told the BBC that American intelligence continued to be incomplete and inconsistent, and that the US had failed to provide a clear explanation for the issue.

"This looks very strange," he said. "Sometimes we receive this information before the attack, another time we [do] not." He continued: "And for example, last night we received it, but... one minute before the attack."

However, he said other collaboration with US continues, adding: "Intelligence data keeps flowing, and the issue is solely with the air raid alert component."

Ex-OpenAI worker accused of planting device had Saudi support, says court filing

A Saudi national charged with secretly planting a recording device in one of OpenAI's meeting rooms has been accused of having "considerable support" from the Saudi government, according to a California court filing

, external

US prosecutors claimed Abdulrahman Alfozan, who worked for the AI firm, was in "frequent communication... with a member of the Saudi royal family", and say a member of the country's military paid for a one-way flight to Saudi Arabia for his wife and son after his arrest.

The 35-year-old engineer was on Monday deemed a flight risk and denied bail, pending trial. The Saudi government did not immediately respond to BBC requests for comment. Alfozan had worked at OpenAI for around a year before he allegedly made his attempt to plant an audio recorder.

The AI company discovered the device, which was plugged into the back of a TV in a conference meeting room and covered up with toilet paper, on 30 September.

A camera was placed in the room and on 5 October, Alfozan was filmed entering and appearing to look behind the television where the audio recorder had been inserted. He was arrested by the FBI on 9 October and his contract with OpenAI was terminated.

The court filing claimed the suspect's alleged conduct could pose "a danger to the national security of the United States", because executives from the tech firm met with government officials in the room during the days the device was believed to have been installed.

It said Alfozan's arrest came three days before he was scheduled to fly from San Francisco to Riyadh on a one-way itinerary with his wife and son.

Following the arrest, the document claims the defendant's wife told FBI agents who interviewed her that "her US visa was expiring" and so she and her son were "permanently moving back to Saudi Arabia", and her husband intended to do the same.
