Pope Francis Declares That May Is The ‘Month Of Mary’, Commands All Catholics Everywhere To ‘Entrust Themselves’ To Her For Protection

In many countries May is the month of Mary. May the Mother of God accompany us and protect Christians in fighting against the forces of evil. Let us entrust ourselves to her and pray for the Church and for peace in the world.

Pope Francis today on Twitter took time out to remind Catholics around the world that Mary is their protector, their life, their light. He reminded Catholics that Mary is the 'queen of the month of May', and told them to put thier lives in her hands. This is not 'respect' or 'veneration', this is old-fashioned idol worship, it is Roman Catholic doctrine and teaching, and it was what I was taught as a Catholic growing up.
Catholics don't worship Mary, you say? It's only 'veneration', is it? Don't kid me, man, go kid your grandma, I was there.
"The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead theirdough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger." Jeremiah 7:18 (KJV)
How well I remember going to my 12 years of Catholic school how special the month of May was. May was the month where all the school kids gathered outside in front of an idol of the Virgin Mary, decorated it with flowers, and professed our undying devotion to, not Jesus, but to the Roman Catholic 'mary' who we were told was 'our everything'. Mary was the 'queen of heaven', the nuns instructed us, and she was the one that heard our prayers and made sure they got answered. Mary was in charge. Not Jesus.

This is the song we sang as we worshipped Mary during our annual May Day festival in Catholic school:

O Mary we crown thee with blossoms today!
Queen of the Angels and Queen of the May.
O Mary we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels and Queen of the May.
Bring flowers of the rarest
bring blossoms the fairest,
from garden and woodland and hillside and dale;
our full hearts are swelling,
our glad voices telling
the praise of the loveliest flower of the vale!
In many countries May is the month of Mary. May the Mother of God accompany us and protect Christians in fighting against the forces of evil. Let us entrust ourselves to her and pray for the Church and for peace in the world.

Their lady they name thee,
Their mistress proclaim thee,
Ah, grant that thy children on earth be as true
as long as the bowers
are radiant with flowers,
as long as the azure shall keep its bright hue
Sing gaily in chorus;
the bright angels o'er us
re-echo the strains we begin upon earth;
their harps are repeating
the notes of our greeting,
for Mary herself is the cause of our mirth
Yes, the bible does talk about a 'queen of heaven', and that queen is a wicked idol that the bible says 'provokes God to anger', God hates the 'queen of heaven' and if you read through the bible long enough, destroys her in fantastic fashion.
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2 (KJV)
Mary does not and cannot hear your prayers, and she certainly has no power and no authority to answer them, if  you believe the bible. In the bible, Jesus is the One who protects us, advocates to the Father on our behalf, intercedes for us, saves us and redeems us. Not a single one of these jobs was ever given to Mary.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 (KJV)
If you are 'entrusting yourself' to the Roman Catholic 'virgin mary', you will die in your sins and spend eternity in a fiery Hell. Only Jesus can hear your prayers, only Jesus can answer them, and He needs no help at all from the 'virgin mary'. So get off your knees, smash that statues of Mary, and ask Jesus to save you. I did that 28 years ago, and it was the best day of my life.
What day was that? The day that Jesus, all by Himself, with no help from anyone, saved me. And He will save you, too. Ask Him.
