More than 70 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into southern and central Israel on Friday night, hours after the IDF struck multiple terrorist targets in Gaza, killing a top Islamic Jihad terrorist leader as well as additional operatives.
The Times of Israel reports that "Palestinian media reports say Israeli jets are currently striking sites in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces confirms it has launched a new wave of airstrikes against Palestinian Islamic Jihad targets in the coastal enclave. Meanwhile, incoming rocket sirens sound in Ashkelon, Sderot and other towns near the border with Gaza, with no immediate reports of damage or injuries." IDF reservists have been called up, and the PM says 'it will take as long as it takes'.

This is the first major offensive in Israel since the signing of the Abraham Accords, so it will be interesting to see who, or if, other Arab nations will weigh in on the current situation. Will Macron step into the fray offering peace talk? Will Mohamed bin Zayed offer some timely words of advice? What will it take to get this thing to the 'next level', prophetically speaking? Only the Lord knows, but one of these days we're going to cross a line from which there will be no retreat.
