The Pentagon is right now sending a message to world at large that, even though it is Israel who is involved in a conflict with Iran over nuclear weapons, it is the United States who will ultimately determine its fate. Talk about a memo! Over the next few days, the Mediterranean region will be host to the USS Gerald R. Ford, the USS Carl Vinson and the soon-to-be retired USS Nimitz.
