Boris Johnson has hailed Donald Trump for negotiating the Gaza peace deal, adding that the President “deserves” the Nobel Peace Prize.
The former Prime Minister attributed the monumental diplomatic breakthrough to Mr Trump, claiming the US President used his office alongside a “the bouncy castle, explosive force of his own personality”.
“Certainly, I don't think it would have been done without his agency, without his effort,” Mr Johnson told GB News host Ben Leo. Mr Trump being able to make the deal is “absolutely stick in the craw of the lefties around the world”, the avid Brexiteer added.

“Donald Trump has unquestionably helped to deliver this; there isn't quite the jubilation you'd expect on the left. But for most serious, sensible people, this is a good moment,” John added.
However, the former Prime Minister warned that there was still a lot left to do, with only the first stage of Mr Trump’s peace deal being settled so far. “It really could be the beginning of the end,” Mr Johnson added. The deal, announced late on Wednesday, kickstarted a ceasefire in Gaza, with Israeli military has started to withdraw from parts of the Strip.
