Three Iranian pastors face death penalty
Over 2,500 years ago, three followers of the true God were thrown into a fiery furnace in Babylon because of religiously-inspired hatred. The Bible tells us that their names were Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and their story is recorded in Daniel 3.
Today in Iran, three pastors have been charged with "spreading corruption on Earth", a religiously-motivated charge brought by those who are intolerant of Christianity. It is thought that these charges have been brought because they carry the death penalty. Behnam, Abdolreza and Silas are the victims of religious intolerance.

Friends of Israel Warn about ISIS
Some people know that Brigitte Gabriel is a Lebanese Christian who immigrated to the United States a few years ago, following the invasion of Lebanon by the Muslim Jihad. In 1975 when she was ten years old, militant Muslims throughout the Middle East poured into Lebanon and declared war against Lebanese Christians.

Brigitte and her mother were injured in the shelling from Muslim artillery. They were allowed to cross into Israel and receive medical treatment at a hospital in Safed (she tells about it in her book,Because They Hate). The love and kindness that she and her mother received from the Israeli doctors and nurses turned her into a lifelong friend of Israel. She now runs what is known as Act for America, an organization aimed at helping Americans understand the threat they face from Islam and learning how to combat it.
In addition to her books, Ms. Gabrielle has recently written an article entitled “ISIS is a threat beyond Iraq, with Shariah as its worldwide aim.” In the article she says, “ISIS isn’t acting out of anger over borders or ‘politics’ as the West understands the term. ISIS has a specific goal in mind and that is the formation of an Islamic state ruled by Shariah.” She points out this is the common goal of all the major jihadist organizations across the world. It is shared by al Qaeda, Hamas, Lashkar e Taiba, Abu Sayyef, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, and others. This shared goal transcends any disagreements over borders and pure politics.
For instance, she says, Israel [which she loves] could disappear tomorrow and the overriding goal of the formation of Islamic states ruled by Sharia would not change a bit. It is based on their thousand-year-old doctrine which is far more fundamental and overarching than mere political ideology. That in turn is based on the Islamic trilogy—the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sira.
In this particular article she does not talk much about ISIL [meaning Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant], which is a kind of nefarious twist to ISIS. ISIL aims to take over not just Iraq and Syria but the whole Levant, including Lebanon and Israel.
In a parallel article, another woman who works to warn us of the dangers of Islam, Pamela Geller, tells us what ISIL is all about. Lebanon is already suffering, as ISIL puts up their flags and banners in various places. Lebanon looks ready to go down under the advance of ISIL, and if it does then nothing stands between them and Israel.
“While the world is convulsing in jihad wars and religious minorities flee from invading Muslim savages, Obama is busying himself with teaching us what Islam is really, really all about,” Geller’s article says. Ironically, the President is teaching us what it’s about, because he is calling it ISIL, inadvertently calling attention to the fact that the entire Levant could collapse under the advance of these savages.
Geller’s article continues: “The Islamic State has beheaded Lebanese soldiers. The Christians know what’s about to come. They are arming themselves. Already the black flag of jihad is hung from street posts and across storefronts in Tripoli, Lebanon.
“The ISIS-affiliated insignia is increasingly appearing outside some shops around Tripoli and is being donned by protesters at Islamist rallies in the city, a potential signal of the radical group’s growing reach and level of support in Lebanon’s second-biggest city. Others, however, insist it is merely a symbol of Sunni unity and pride.”
As for Israel, the real threat could come not from the north, but from the east, as ISIS begins to push into the eastern edge of Jordan. Israel has a defense treaty with Jordan, and both Israeli leaders and American officials worry that Israel could be dragged into a war with ISIS in an attempt to protect Jordan. A Ynet News article says, “ISIS’s attack on Jordan can only further complicate the already complex conflict… Officials believe that if the Jordanians feel threatened by ISIS, they will attempt to recruit Israel and the United States for an all-inclusive war that is coming into being in the Middle East.”
So far Israelis, who have just come through a tough war, are not wringing their hands over ISIS. The coming days will tell whether the tiny Jewish state will be swept up in yet another conflict—this time one with global consequences.

That’s right; many Christians are calling on the devil? How are Christians calling on the devil, you ask? I will tell you how they are calling on the devil; by playing rock/rap music, watching demonic shows, playing evil video games, reading demonic books and desecrating the body.
What do you mean? Here is what I mean. Very simply; there are certain practices that attract evil demonic forces into one’s life. And it follows that if a person were to engage in those activities it would open them up to demonic forces.
You ask; what practices? To start; how about Rock and Rap music. Rock/rap music is out of the pit of hell and calls on demonic forces. Look at what Little Richard said about rock music.
My true belief about Rock ‘n’ Roll--and there have been a lot of phrases attributed to me over the years--is this: I believe this kind of music is demonic. ... A LOT OF THE BEATS IN MUSIC TODAY ARE TAKEN FROM VOODOO, FROM THE VOODOO DRUMS. If you study music in rhythms, like I have, you’ll see that is true ... I believe that kind of music is driving people from Christ. It is contagious[3]
And here are a few words about rock music straight from the mouth of a former Satanist.
When I was about seven, I became involved in a satanic coven.... I was involved quite heavily in satanic worship for seven years in three different covens.... Satanic worship services are designed to put the worshipers into a mood where spirits can be called to manifest themselves during the service. They always use live music, and the music always has a beat.
They start with a drummer. The rest of the instruments are geared to the drumming. These people practiced many, many hours for every service we had. It was rock music with a rock beat. We were told that the reason they used the rock beat was because it’s the same beat as your heart.
Subconsciously, while you listened to the music, it would open you up. People weren’t aware that they were opening up to spirits, because they were concentrating on the music. The music is a great part of the service because it opens you up to spirits without you being aware of it. This music prepared everyone to open themselves up to the forces of darkness.
As those forces respond to that invitation, people become inhabited by demons. There is no way to carry out the things done in those services without inviting spirits into your life to empower you to do them. During those services, I saw atrocities and vile acts. People turned against their friends with savagery, even becoming cannibalistic. [7]
Oh, but you say; I listen to Christian rock and rap music, not that bad secular stuff.
In 1981, I was driving down a jungle road in the Ivory Coast with several African pastors in the car with me. I had recently received a couple of cassette tapes from our denominational headquarters that were intended for our teenage daughter.
These were recordings of various ‘Christian rock’ artists. In listening to the tapes, I was very disturbed in my own spirit that such material was being sent to our missionary kids.
But not trusting my own reaction alone and realizing that these pastors with whom I was traveling were very sensitive to the spirit world (both good and evil), I decided to play the tapes for them. The reaction I got was immediate and verbally violent!
One of the pastors asked me this question, ‘Do you mean to tell us that this kind of music is played in your churches in America?’
I answered in the affirmative. His response was filled with disgust and anger as he replied with another question. ‘What are you doing allowing your church people in America to call up the evil spirits with their music?’ [4]
I liken Christian rock/rap to a Bible verse on a cigarette. And then Christians wonder why they are so defeated in their lives and easily fall when tempted. Oh, BTW I was once cussed out by a “Christian” rock musician for my stance against it—go figure.
And what are Christians watching and allowing their children to watch, that are opening them up to demonic forces? Vampire shows, horror movies, half time shows featuring demon possessed people, etc. What a joke!
Oh, and how about those “entertaining” video games where they cast spells, shoot, kill, steal, and rape, all in the name of fun. Do you think that maybe engaging in those activities will open someone up to demonic forces? Why don’t you ask some of the recent mass murderers who became possessed by demonic forces and carried out great atrocities, and who loved playing games like that. You know how many young people from Christian homes I have heard talking about playing those type games?
Oh, let’s not forget about all the secular books, like Harry Potter, that Christians read, that were written by demons through automatic writing—where the author goes into a trance and a demon enters their body and writes through them—look it up—even some popular so called Christian books are written this way. Do you think that maybe reading books written by demons will open someone up to demonic forces?
Christians have the Holy Spirit in them, thus their bodies are a Temple of God. So why are Christians engaging in the occult practice of graffiting/tattooing God’s Temple? Now I am not talking about people who got their tattoos before they were saved, but after—what a sacrilege. While we are talking about the boday as God’s temple, let’s not forget about the Christians—mainly girls—that are wearing lewd immodest dress—even to church. What a disgrace to the name of Christ, what in the world is going on? Whatever happened to this verse?
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 1 Tim 2:9
I know Christians are engaging in these practices because I have run into many who claim the name of Christ, go to church, etc, that I hear of doing these things. Just yesterday I heard a Christian young teen talking to another about what happened on a vampire show on TV, and the one girl comes from a “good” Christian family. A few months ago I heard a Christian saying how she loved Beyonce, saying she was her favorite “Christian” performer. I almost puked—you know Beyonce admits that she performs via demon possession, right? I know what; maybe she can dress like her at the church Halloween night.
Where are you Pastors? Don’t you care that your flock is calling on the devil? How can you idly sit by and allow your flock to engage in these evil practices? Are you afraid to turn the heat up and preach a hot message against these things because you are afraid that you will lose members from your church, or have you joined the “keep it positive” club?
Well let me inform you that if you continue to allow them to engage in these practices, you have lost them already. Case in point, where are your young adults—sucked away by the world? Now of course pastor, you cannot make their decisions for them, but it is your job to enlighten them and educate them with the facts so that they can make proper decisions.
The church used to be the backbone of this once great nation, now the spine has turned to jelly, and the church and this nation is very weak. There are very few churches that are fighting against the evil forces that have pervaded our society, instead they embrace them or remain silent not wanting to offend. As a result the flock is being decimated for lack of knowledge of the evil around them.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 2 Tim 4:2
Where are you pastors? The Sunday morning pew sitter is waiting for you to reprove, rebuke, and exhort them in regards to calling on the devil. Will you? (Note: this post was not directed to any one pastor in particular, but the many across our land that are failing to do their job.)

The Scales of Revelation 6 are tipping – and Ebola fulfills the edge

The color black is representative of darkness. It is a symbol for death, of satan and his underworld. This was particularly the case in the medieval times, when the “Black Death” was one of the most devastating times in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people and peaking in Europe in the years 1346–53. Quite to the point is the prophecy of Zechariah 6:2, 6, 8 NASB where the black horse goes to the “land of the north,” where the “wrath of God is appeased.” InRevelation 6:5, the color black apparently symbolizes famine, which is frequently associated with death, particularly as the after-fruit of war.

The prophecy of the 3rd seal envisions a time of economic crisis the world has never known; or, at least since the time of the Dark Ages when the bubonic plague killed millions. The result of such a pandemic is not limited to disease, death, but also, the fruit of disease and death, the failing of world economies. Food being measured by weight envisions a time when food is rationed. Revelation 6 prophesies of precisely such an event. In the 1st century, the economic language was different than today. A denarius was equal to a day’s wage.1 Matthew 20:2. When a day’s wage only pays for a day’s food for one person, it is a time of economic crisis; people will be unable to provide for their families (in the 1st century, a denarius paid for 8 -1 0 x this amount). The law of supply and demand determines the higher price. Barley was the peasant’s food, in fact, the food for animals. In this time, economic crisis will be so great that everyone will eat food normally fed to animals; and, thee times a day’s food for the food for an animal will take a day’s wage for the single worker. The point — even the most basic of foods, bread and water (not steak and potatoes) will cost a full day’s wage. The final characteristic is “not to damage the oil and the wine.” In times of economic crisis the rich will not be impacted. In fact, in most economic downtimes, the rich become richer (and the poor become poorer). Interesting isnt it that it is “oil” that is not damaged.

How does this relate to the world we live in? Consider the words of politicians and leaders of the world who would not mention potential calamities for fear of creating an epidemic of fear in the world we live in.

The International Monetary Fund Wednesday proposed expanding its emergency lending to the three worst-hit countries—Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone, where the crisis is already slashing growth prospects as fear of the virus has prompted farmers to abandon their fields, shop owners to shutter their stores and manufacturers to cut output. The loss of revenue and other crisis costs are overwhelming the governments’ budgets. But Mr. Kim said if the virus continues to spread, it could send the three nations into an economic depression next year. “This would deal a potentially catastrophic blow to their already fragile economies,” he said. … A senior IMF official said Ebola was having an “unprecedented” economic impact on the economies. Previous contagions, such as the SARS and HIV epidemics, wreaked economic havoc in Asia and Africa, but were either in larger economies that could handle the fallout or the crisis took longer to develop. The Ebola epidemic, however, is striking small, fragile economies. … Without stronger international efforts, the crisis could metastasize into a far larger humanitarian and economic disaster, IMF and World Bank officials warn. The three countries worst hit only represent 5% of West Africa’s gross domestic product. There’s already some spillover into neighboring countries such as Senegal and Gambia, where fear of the disease is taking a toll on a major economic driver, tourism. … The bank’s worst-case scenario imagines a slow containment in the three hard-hit nations and likely broader regional contagion. That would push Liberia and Sierra Leone into deep economic contractions next year and cause larger problems for the growth across the continent. … “That impact could be much, much larger…on the order of billions of dollars” said Francisco Ferreira, the bank’s chief economist for the Africa region. In light of the ongoing nightmare that is the Islamic State, Foreign Policy, a magazine somewhat reflective of the establishment, has published an article that once again demonstrates why U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East is a disaster: because analysts and policymakers, unable or unwilling to grapple with foreign concepts, opt to articulate them through familiar Western paradigms.
Titled “The Islamic State of Sexual Violence” and written by Aki Peritz and Tara Maller—“We both worked as CIA analysts focused on Iraq’s insurgency and counterterrorism during much of the war”—the Foreign Policy (FP) article opens with this telling sentence: “Of the many terrifying stories emerging from Islamic State-occupied Iraq and Syria, the violence directed toward women is perhaps the most difficult to contemplate.”
This is an odd assertion. Of all the atrocities committed by the Islamic State, is sexual violence against women really “the most difficult to contemplate”? After all, deplorable as sexual violence against women is, it is also one of the most common features of warfare since the beginnings of recorded history. It should not be too “difficult to contemplate.”
Instead, one would think that public beheadings and mutilations—with sadistic pictures of the victims posted online—would be more “difficult to contemplate.” One would think herding off 1500 “infidel” men and coldly shooting them in the head to cries of “Allahu Akbar” would be more “difficult to contemplate.” One would think that forcing religious minorities to convert to Islam or die—with Christians crucified for refusing to embrace Islam—would be more “difficult to contemplate.”
But in the very next paragraph we encounter the reason why FP highlights female sexual abuse while ignoring the truly more “difficult to contemplate” atrocities committed by the Islamic State: to exonerate Islam from the deeds of the Islamic State:
"IS claims to be a religious organization, dedicated to re-establishing the caliphate and enforcing codes of modesty and behavior from the time of Muhammad and his followers. But this is rape, not religious conservatism. IS may dress up its sexual violence in religious justifications, saying its victims violated Islamic law, or were infidels, but their leaders are not fools. This is just another form of warfare…."
That last sentence is what FP wants readers to leave with—“This is just another form of warfare.” The authors chose the most generic atrocity committed during war, one that is common to all cultures and civilizations—sexual violence, enslavement, and rape—to condemn the Islamic State with. The result is that the Islamic State looks like “just another” enemy combatant... Keep reading
