"GLENN BECK CONVERTS TO CHRISLAM" BY THEODORE SHOEBAT (SON OF WALID SHOEBAT).

Glenn Beck Converts To Chrislam

So what is Glenn Beck’s movement about? Its a difficult subject to deal with since Americans as of late have departed from fundamental Christianity into admiration of men whom they erect as idols. People usually get upset when their idols are destroyed, its not easy, but our investigation began with several of Beck’s speeches guiding people into a universal religion, consisting of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and Mormonism, a universal religion that fits all. In our first video, Beck, despite that Christians adore the Temple Mount for Jews and Christians, declares that Islam has a share in it:

How could the Holy Land–the land where God Himself walked and in which He was buried and rose from the dead–be compatible with heresy and error? Do people like this truly believe that when Christ establishes His kingdom that he will enact a policy of toleration for other religions? Isaiah proclaims this about Christ’s coming:
And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made [each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. (Isaiah 2:17-21)
Christ will make His law the only law, without any toleration for falsehoods including Islam and Mormonism.
Beck is even keen to dragging with him David Brog of CUFI (Christians United For Israel). Speaking at Beck’s rally, in this video Brog in agreement, reads the lines of a local sheikh which promulgates the worship of Allah:

This out of the leader of CUFI with John Hagee present, even speaking at that event? No one even corrected such false statements and told him that Muslims are not the sons of Abraham, Islam is a heresy, not a race. And if all gather under the “god of the universe” it implies that we should adopt Allah–this is purely heretical. Paul says:
Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. (I Corinthians 10:21)
If we are eager to be equally yolked with Mormons as spiritual equals because of the charisma of Beck, then we will fall into accepting their theology, leading us further into welcoming Islam as an inspired religion. Yet this is exactly what Beck believes.
This error is that grave heresy which has been growing recently: chrislam. If you think Beck combats Islam, you are mistaken. He speaks out against terrorism yes, but not the source of it. He writes in one of his books, An Inconvenient Truth:
I have read the Koran and can tell you that I unequivocally believe that Islam is a religion of peace.
Not only is Islam acceptable as the “religion of peace”, but invited everyone to get possessed by demons. As astonishing as it sounds, its true. Beck, in his book The 7 (co-athored with David Ablow), writes:
Every major religion and culture has identified faith as a force that unlocks mysterious and magnificent energy. The Book of Mormon puts it simply and directly: ‘…Whenever men have sufficient faith, angels have ministered unto them.’ Hinduism, Taoism, Chinese popular religion, Siberian shamanism, and other traditions speak of a polestar. …You have a polestar inside you. It is connected with all the energy in the universe. When you begin to follow that star you align yourself with immeasurable, inexplicable forces that will actually help you manifest your best intentions.
Why is Beck so focused on doctrines of devils? Because it is a part of his religion which we are all now required to respect and accept. In fact, Beck’s prophet, Joseph Smith led the most radical form of chrislam, emulating Muhammad in both his heresy and his violence. He believed that “Mahomet [Muhammad] was a true prophet.”
Joseph Smith once declared:
I will be to this generation a second Mohammad, whose motto in treating for peace was ‘Alcoran or the Sword.’ So shall it eventually be with us–’Joseph Smith or the Sword.’ (See Alvin Schmidt, The American Muhammad, ch. 3, p. 60)
So intense was Smith’s emulation of Muhammad that some American news editors called him “the American Mahomet,” or “the yankee Mahomet.” (See historian Alvin Schmidt, The American Muhammad, ch. 1, p. 27) Apparently Americans were more astute and educated on such matters in Smith’s day, and if there was one thing I wish to revive in this country, it is this very erudition on cults, past and present.
Nothing is new under the sun. What Christians are unaware that what Beck is doing now is shockingly what the Mormons were already doing in the earliest days of Mormonism till now where volumes of support for Islam and Muhammad have been declared by the LDS. The first Mormons honored Muhammad as a prophet when they made a council specifically dedicated to appreciating Islam. From the official LDS website, we read:
As early as 1855, at a time when Christian literature generally ridiculed Muhammad as the Antichrist and the archenemy of Western civilization, Elders George A. Smith (1817–75) and Parley P. Pratt (1807–57) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles delivered lengthy sermons demonstrating an accurate and balanced understanding of Islamic history and speaking highly of Muhammad’s leadership.
In other words, the Mormons wanted to deter people from believing in the general, and correct view, that Islam was the Antichrist religion. In the meeting, George A. Smith said in the council that Muhammad was “descended from Abraham and was no doubt raised up by God on purpose”.
And if you think that this is just old history, Beck follows and proclaims the current Mormon policy on Islam, as we read from the official LDS doctrine:
Latter-day Saint appreciation of Muhammad’s role in history can also be found in the 1978 First Presidency statement regarding God’s love for all mankind. This declaration specifically mentions Muhammad as one of “the great religious leaders of the world” who received “a portion of God’s light” and affirms that “moral truths were given to [these leaders] by God to enlighten whole nations and to bring a higher level of understanding to individuals.”
Beck is trying to teach a certain form of deism, in which there is one god just up there who we are all worshipping, and who doesn’t care how we worship him.

He says that we differ on “fundamentals” with other faiths, and that this doesn’t matter, what matters is that we all worship God. But what about us who refuse to conform to this heresy? He considers us bigoted and intolerant “deep theologians”. He also says that its not about one faith being better than other faiths. If we accept this sentiment then we will be on our way to flat out confusion. If a faith is true than it must be superior to all other faiths.
I have seen Christians grow a love for the Latter Day Saints because they are so enamored with Glenn Beck. So strong can this fascination become, that some will prefer Mormonism over the Catholic Church. Here is just one example of this type of compromising, in which televangelist James Robinson accepts Beck as a Christian regardless of Mormon heresy:

Much of what Beck says is true, and I can say that when I listen to him I agree with him more than disagree with him. But as one Romanian priest once said, “A small departure is a great fall.” When it comes to heresy, we must always focus on their differences with Christianity, rather than their similarities. As Paul says:
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. (Galatians 5:9)
Mormonism and Islam deny the Trinity, and if we see this as not a major doctrinal issue, then we are only helping Satan in his cause to destroy the Faith, all for the sake of being accepted by mainstream conservatism which has been infiltrated by all types of false Christians. Beck, like a Muslim, has explicitly denied the Holy Trinity:

It is quite amazing: two professed conservatives who for years have proclaimed “conservative values”, now all of a sudden are talking like liberals. Glenn Beck believes we should accept Mormonism as another version of Christianity, as if truth comes in different varieties, like food from cheap restaurants. It is lamentable that the most important thing in life–Christianity–is deemed as relative, and not absolute. Beck criticizes “deep theologians”, so then what does he want, empty headed and vague theologians?
Christ, the Saviour of man, is marketed by these frauds to appease both orthodox and heretic. And while Beck spouts out his poison, the wolf in shepherd’s clothing, David Barton, is in agreement with him, all for the sake of being accepted by a famous heretic.
I have heard numerous times from certain conservative groups that our approach against Islamic terrorism must be secular. But I say now that this is not only a fallacy, but a grave and dangerous error.
Islam is a religion, and thus we must go against it in advancement for a religion that is supreme and triumphant over evil and wickedness. Islam is theological, so then we must war against it with a theology that extinguishes falsehood. Islam is spiritual, and thus we must combat it in the name of that Spirit which vanquishes all unclean spirits. The only system that can crush the Islamic evil before us is Christianity.
Secular conservatives will always contend with Islamic violence, and will usually respond against Islam only when there is a terrorist attack. They keep reacting, never introducing any measures which will prevent Islamic violence. The key to stopping Islam from thriving, is a full scale attack by the Church upon its theology.
Muslims who wish to execute terrorist attacks will hesitate in a Christian society that does not tolerate its heresies. We, as the Body of Christ, must adopt that pure sentiment of Tertullian and Augustine, that error has no rights, that it cannot be accepted in a land where Christ–the Truth–is esteemed as the only Truth.
We must combat Muhammad’s heresy, not with vain compromises, secularism, or the vague words of conniving politicians and pork barreling legislators, but by “taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” (Ephesians 6:16) For every teaching of Islam is an explicit attack upon the Faith — be it its denial of the Scriptures, the Virgin Birth, the Godhead, and the holiness of Israel, all of it is an attempt to obliterate the very foundation of our civilization: Christianity.
Conservatives must stop referring to Islam as some religion equal to Christianity, but a heresy with an inherent and direct goal to destroy all of Christianity. The intention of heresy is the undermining of the Church, and this was the aspiration of Muhammad from the very beginning of his cult. Hence why Muhammad focused on destroying the doctrine of the Trinity and the divinity of Christ, writing:
They are surely infidels, who say, Verily God is Christ the son of Mary … Christ the son of Mary is no more than an apostle; other apostles have preceded him; and his mother was a woman of veracity: they both ate food. (Koran 5)
To the Christian–a true Christian that is–this must be deemed as the most depraved form of blasphemy, for John writes:
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. (I John 2:22-23)
Some may argue that theology means nothing, and that all that matters is our values. This idea is shared by those who say that religions such as Mormonism and Islam are not threats because Mormons and Muslims are “nice” or “polite” or have “great values.” Numerous Christian leaders and other conservatives have adopted this view to not appear as intolerant. Dennis Prager is one of them since he doesn’t care about how we see God, but only in our values, and hence he doesn’t view Mormonism as something we should be concerned about:

Cain observed corrupted theology when he sacrificed fruit and refused to sacrifice animal blood, and to these modern conservatives this would be no major concern. “Its just fruit,” they would say, “I differ with Cain theologically, but we both worship one God, so who cares.”
Cain was tolerated, and even tricked his brother with a false peace when he conversed with him in the field, before killing him:
And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. (Genesis 4:8)
The story of the Church is a continuous repetition of the story of Cain and Abel: the heretic will always try to destroy the orthodox. Just like Cain, the heretic will always appear peaceful before killing the believer.
This is why we can never accept a heresy because its subscribers are “nice”, as so many have done today. We can never forget that the goal of the heretic, and the result of heresy, is chaos and revolt against the natural order, not friendly dialogue.
Theology does matter; it is from our theology where we get our views on society and human life, thus the Lord declares:
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death. (Proverbs 8:36)
Truth, by its very nature, is intolerant. Tolerate all religions, and you invite every error accept the truth, and in such a state will we be stuck repeating the question of Pontius Pilate: What is the truth?

THE ALL OUT FINANCIAL COLLAPSE IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!

Financial Insider: “We Are Moving Into the Last Stages Before An All Out Collapse”

cutcaster-photo-100732389-100-Dollar-Bill-On-Firexxxxx
With the United States having reached unprecedented levels of debt and no end in sight, Europe close to widespread destabilization, and Japan now having lost control of their bond market, it should be quite apparent that there is no turning back.
Governments around the world are doing everything in their power to maintain the perception that all is well. Despite their best efforts, however, the coming catastrophe cannot be stopped.
The following video and accompanying excerpt recorded on the Hagmann and Hagmann Report Nightly Radio Show features Steve Quayle and financial insider “V,” also known as the Guerrilla economist.
This is critical knowledge and foresight into what is happening, what the triggers for the next collapse will be, and how the world’s elite plan on making their exits.
You will never hear information like this from mainstream media sources until after the fact, if ever.
Be forearmed and forewarned, because as “V” notes, what’s coming will leave no one on this planet untouched.
Video excerpt produced by The Daily Sheeple with permission from The Hagmann and Hagmann Report
The collapse that’s going to occur here is going to be a trifecta of bonds, stocks and real estate combined.

The Fed over here has ordered – and I want everybody to listen because this is insider information – the Fed has ordered the U.S. pension funds to begin to acquire U.S. debt. That is coming down the pike, it’s going to start happening, the states are going to start carrying it in order to fatten up their books… So, we are moving into the last stages before an all out collapse.
That’s exactly where we’re headed.
Now the Rubicon has been crossed… the armies are surrounding the Capital itself.
Excerpt continued…
We’re at a very critical juncture, and that’s what’s got me freaked out the most. The Japanese have lost control and they don’t know what to do at this point. .. They’re telling the public “don’t worry, everything’s ok.”
That is a signs, folks, that they are panicking. That is a sign that everything is not OK… that there is a great fear and trepidation that has begun.
And when this thing goes bust, this is the trigger that’s going to bring this whole thing down.

We’re on the last leg for this whole storybook. Unfortunately, it’s not going to be a storybook ending. So we’re in the last few pages of a chapter that’s been written about a hundred years ago, and it’s soon coming to an end.

Now the question becomes, what exactly are they going to do?
They’re going to bring this thing to a halt. They’re going to create economic turmoil and a crash. And then they’re going to sell the population on some sort of armed conflagration, some sort of a massive global war.
That is typically the playbook of the globalists. That is typically what we see, a pattern that is repeated often.

A small scale controlled regional war is not going to fix the $1.5 Quadrillion derivative debt globally.
A small scale regional war is not going to fix the massive levels of unemployment in America, in Europe, in Japan…
It’s not going to fix the economic problems that have festered in much of the western world and parts of the world that utilize a western style of banking.
It’s not going to fix it this time.

This time they’re going to drag everybody in. This time there’s not going to be anybody who’s going to be unaffected.

Let me tell you right now. It is mathematically impossible to pull this back. It’s mathematically impossible.
You cannot recall this.

WATCH OUT FOR TURKEY, AND HOW IT FITS INTO BIBLE PROPHECY!

What's going on in Turkey and how does it figure into prophecy?

Can you believe the Arab Spring in Syria has been going on since January 2011 (or Dec 2010 depending on which source). For two and a half years, the Arab world has experienced unrest like it never has before. Dictators, Parliaments or Presidents fell in rapid succession. The civil war in Syria is taking a tens of thousands of lives and going on its third year. And now Turkey seems to be the latest victim of the unrest that now characterizes the region. The BBC reports on the latest nation's uprising,
"[T]housands of anti-government protesters have rallied again in Istanbul's Taksim Square. Earlier, Mr Erdogan vowed to press ahead with a controversial proposal to redevelop a park in Istanbul. A local protest against the plan turned into political unrest in Istanbul, Ankara and across Turkey. The original sit-in at Gezi Park last Friday mushroomed after police cracked down on activists defending the green space near Taksim Square from developers. For days, demonstrators in Istanbul, Ankara and other cities have called for the three-term prime minister to quit."
Turkey? The one nation that had seemed calm in the face of constant teargas, bullets, and fists in the air? Yes. And it was inevitable.

Recep Erdogan has been Prime Minister of Turkey since 2003. Initially he brought stability and a westernization to this country. He was part of the negotiations to enter the European Union. He was allied with Israel. He brought inflation under control. He ended internal conflict amongst factions. He stabilized the party and thus, Parliament. The west loved him.

However as time went on, "On his second and third terms in office, despite the improvements brought about as a result of the first term, the government mostly gave up on the European Union backed democratization process and became increasingly authoritarian on press freedom, [more journalists are in jail in Turkey than in China!] restrictive on Kurdish minority rights and dismissive and authoritative on formerly dominant political powers in Ankara. Democratic initiative on Kurdish minority rights, led by Erdoğan, stalled." (source).

After all, Erdogan "once called democracy a train from which you get off once you reach the station."

Like Hitler did?
Source

Of late, the nation's ranking for press freedom slipped. Erdogan began censoring internet access, he broke ties with Israel, and most recently, severely tightened restrictions on use and sale of alcohol due to religious reasons.

Erdogan is Sunni Muslim, remember.

In February 2013, Erdoğan called Zionism a "crime against humanity", comparing it to Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and fascism.

Uh-oh.

And in June of 2013 for the first time in ten years in Turkey, an uprising occurred. "June 2013 saw protests against the perceived authoritarianism of Erdogan and his policies, starting from a small sit-in in Istanbul in defense of a city park. After the police's intense reaction with tear gas, the protests grew each day for the next seven days. Faced by the largest mass protest in a decade, Erdogan made this controversial remark in a televised speech: "The police were there yesterday, they are there today, and they will be there tomorrow. Taksim Square cannot be allowed to be a place where marginal groups can freely roam". (source)
Of these uprisings, The Economist explains in an article interestingly titled, Democrat or sultan? and he is illustrated as a sultan on a rug holding a modern teargas mask, "The protests are a sign of rising dissatisfaction with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s most important leader since Ataturk. The rioting spread like wildfire across the country. Over 4,000 people have been hurt and over 900 were arrested; three have died."

Unlike the previously mentioned Arab Spring and the protests in Egypt, for example, the protests in Taksim Square in Istanbul have not been FOR Islamism in Turkey, they have been protests against Erdogan's (perceived) increasing Islamization of the nation. (source, source). Or, at least against his continued authoritarian constriction of previously enjoyed freedoms.

In a truly democratic nation, there is tolerance for dissent. What the world witnessed this past week was extreme intolerance and further, that the go-to position from its nation's duly elected leader is violence and heavy-handedness.

There is much debate among the world political watchdogs as to whether this is an Arab Spring for Turkey or not. Some say it the exact opposite- a Turkish Autumn, if you will. (source, source). Others
Source
say it is the first crack that will lead to a return of the Caliphate. But let's look at what prophecy says.

"The Arab Spring is the media term for the revolutionary wave of nonviolent and violent demonstrations, violent and nonviolent protests, riots, and civil wars in the Arab world that began on 18 December 2010. To date, rulers have been forced from power in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Yemen; civil uprisings have erupted in Bahrain and Syria; major protests have broken out in Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, and Sudan; and minor protests have occurred in Mauritania, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, and Western Sahara."

This Arab Spring occurred within a region known as the 10/40 window. The Joshua Project describes the importance of the 10/40 Window this way-

"The 10/40 Window has several important considerations: first, the historical and Biblical significance; second, the least evangelized countries; third, the unreached people groups and cities; fourth, the dominance of three religious blocs; fifth, the preponderance of the poor; sixth, the strongholds of Satan within the 10/40 Window."

Here is the 10/40 window on a map:

"The 10/40 Window is a term coined by Christian missionary strategist Luis Bush in 1990 to refer those regions of the eastern hemisphere, plus the European and African part of the western hemisphere, located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the equator, a general area that in 1990 was purported to have the highest level of socioeconomic challenges and least access to the Christian message and Christian resources on the planet." Wikipedia list of 10/40 nations is below.
What is interesting is that many of these nations participated in the Arab Spring, and are further predicted in prophecy to be part of the major wars of the coming Tribulation times (Psalm 83, Isaiah 19, Isaiah 17, Revelation 16:12, Obadiah 1:15-18, Ezekiel 38-39, etc). One huge exception to this is that Russia is not in the 10/40 window, but is a major player in Ezekiel 38-39's Gog Magog war.

Turkey is interesting not only because of her past part in history and her future part in history (more on these below) but her present condition as a perhaps-secretly Muslim nation with a Democratic overlay. Soon, I believe, this overlay will be ripped off as the nation's true position will be revealed.

Turkey's past is important to bible history and future prophecy. For example,

--Turkey was home to all seven of the churches Jesus had John write to in the book of Revelation.

--Turkey was home to half the Roman Empire. The eastern capital of the Roman Empire was Istanbul (renamed Constantinople in 330AD). Many scholars believe that because the Roman Empire was split into two halves, or two legs, that this is the reason for the imagery in Daniel 2 of the statue that represented kingdoms to come. (Daniel 2:32-35). This means that in all likelihood when the Roman Empire is revived it will carry with it the ancient eastern half, Turkey. (Daniel 2:40-41)

--Turkey was the home to the Ottoman Empire from 1453 to 1922. The Ottoman Caliphate was abolished on 3 March 1924 when the Empire collapsed and the Caliphate's authority and properties were transferred to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. But Revelation speaks mysteriously of another empire, the seventh king who is also and eighth but belongs to the seventh (Revelation 17:9-11). In some way, it seems, the Ottoman Empire may be included, represented, or seen in the seven mountains and kings. (More here).

--Finally, the past Caliphate of Turkey is not to be overlooked.

"For the last 400 years of its existence, the Caliphate was claimed by the Turkish Sultans of the Ottoman Empire. Though the Ottomans actively used the title only sporadically, from 1517 onwards the Ottoman Sultan came to be viewed as the de facto leader and representative of the Islamic world. From Constantinople (now Istanbul), the Ottomans ruled over an empire that, at its peak, covered Anatolia, most of the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus, and extended deep into Eastern Europe." (source)

There are many calls to revive the Caliphate, even to this very week.
PA Arabs Fete 'New Mahdi," Establishment of Calpihate
"Thousands of PA Arabs participated in a mass rally in Ramallah earlier this week calling for the establishment of the Muslim Caliphate – the worldwide Islamist government that will “bring the coming of the Mahdi.” the Muslim messiah. The Caliphate is essentially a union of Muslim countries under the spiritual and political leadership of a single individual, the Caliph. It has been an Islamic concept since the days of Muhammad, when it was established by several of his disciples.
The last official Caliph was Abdülmecid II, who lost the office in the aftermath of the defeat of Ottoman Turkey in World War I. The best-known Caliph in the West was Suleiman the Great, an early Ottoman sultan who, in the 16th century, conquered most of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, even conquering parts of Europe, until he was stopped at “the Gates of Vienna.” With many Muslim states politically and religiously divided, and dependent on the West for support, radical Islamists have been pushing for the reestablishment of the Caliphate – this time to be led by the all-powerful Mahdi, who will unite all Muslims and establish Islam as the dominant religion in the world, ruling for several years before the "Day of Judgment". Although the identity of the Mahdi is a secret, many Islamists believe that he is alive now..."
That Turkey is now folded into the world troubles is not a surprise. Turkey figures prominently in past and future history. Keep your eyes on Turkey, as as well as all developments in the Middle East, even as you also keep looking up. (Luke 21:28).

VERY GOOD READ BY JIM FLETCHER FROM THE BALFOUR POST ON "THE PALESTINIAN JESUS"!!

"THE PALESTINIAN JESUS" by JIM FLETCHER.
Did you know Jesus was a Palestinian? Neither did he. That hasn’t stopped the enemies of the Christians’ Prince of Peace from attempting to use him for diabolical political purposes.
What began as a clever propaganda ploy by Yasser Arafat—as part of his lifelong attempt to erase Jewish history—has been picked up by American evangelicals. That Jesus of Nazareth was born and lived as a Jew is an obvious historical fact, just as, for example, Robert E. Lee commanding the Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War. The background of Jesus Christ, however, inarguably the most famous person in history, is of great importance. His life as a Jew is increasingly being called into question by Muslims, who are working overtime to open “interfaith dialogue” channels with American Christian leaders.
The revisionists originally were the usual suspects: Arafat, mainline church scholars, media types. But now this revisionist history has burrowed-into the American evangelical community.Incredibly, in February, 2000, popular author Philip Yancey referred to Jesus as a “Palestinian rabbi” in the pages of Christianity Today.
Ed Stetzer, president of research at LifeWay—the resource arm of the Southern Baptist Convention—referred to Jesus as a “Palestinian Jew” in a September 12, 2011 blog post entitled “Monday is for Missiology: Some Thoughts on Contextualization.”
In a banner above his May 9, 2012 blog post, “Solidarity Fast With Palestinians?” Assemblies of God minister and Palmer Theological Seminary Professor Paul Alexander referred to Jesus as “the Palestinian Jew.” Alexander, professor of Christian Ethics and Public Policy at Palmer (the seminary of Eastern University) has long advocated for the Palestinians. Knowingly or unknowingly, some evangelical leaders are advancing a false narrative concocted by the likes of Arafat and the PLO.
According to Palestinian Media Watch:
“Rewriting the history of the Land of Israel in order to deny Israel’s right to exist is central to Palestinian Authority (PA) policy. Long before it started the PA terror campaign (the ‘Intifada,’ 2000-2005), the PA was fighting a history war – erasing Jewish history and replacing it with a fabricated Palestinian history.
“Erasing Jewish history in the land of Israel is followed by the PA’s invention of ancient and modern histories that support its political ideology and claim to the land of Israel. The Holocaust and other aspects of Jewish history are alternately denied, downplayed or distorted. Another distortion is to hide from Palestinians that Jesus was a Jew who lived in the Land of Judea/Israel. PA leaders repeatedly define Jesus as a Palestinian who preached Islam, thus denying not only Jewish history, but also the history and legitimacy of Christianity.”
In an op-ed (titled “The Resurrection of Jesus, the Resurrection of the State”) for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, dated May 6, 2013, writer Adel Abd Al-Rahman stated:
“Easter… is not a holiday for Christian Palestinians only but a holiday for Palestinian nationalism, because Jesus, may he rest in peace, is a Canaanite Palestinian. His resurrection, three days after being crucified and killed by the Jews – as reported in the New Testament – reflects the Palestinian narrative, which struggles against the descendants of modern Zionist Judaism, in its new colonialist form, that conspires with the Western capitalists who claim to belong to Christianity.
“Jesus, may he rest in peace, the virtuous patriotic Palestinian forefather, who renewed the Old Testament, split away from its followers, brought forth his New Testament and spread it among mankind – which led the Jews to persecute him until they caught him, crucified him and murdered him. Afterwards, he rose from the dead like the phoenix and set out to spread his teachings that still exist and will exist as long as mankind exists.
“Jesus’ story is his [Palestinian] people’s story; the Zionist movement – tool of the capitalist West – wanted to falsify historical facts, to exile and crucify the Palestinian Arab nation and then murder it by means of ethnic cleansing… But the Palestinians, Jesus’ descendants, rose from the ashes, like the phoenix, from the ruins of the Nakba (i.e., ‘the catastrophe,’ the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) and the Naksa (i.e., ‘the setback,’ Palestinian term for Israel’s victory in the Six Day War.) They dressed their wounds and raised the flag of nationality again by founding parties and factions…
“Easter is a distinct [Palestinian] national holiday which doesn’t concern only Christians but rather all Palestinians believing in the different religions – Islam, Christianity and Judaism.”
Though the above narrative is false, “Jesus as Palestinian” is gaining traction within American Evangelicalism. Mark Tooley of the Institute on Religion and Democracy, has seen it before:
“Claims that Jesus was ‘Palestinian’ are common in anti-Israel circles but are not rooted in history.  The area where Jesus lived was not named by the Romans as Palestine until the second century.  Jesus was born and lived on earth as a Jew.  He would not have known His land as ‘Palestine.’  Evangelicals should shun this effort to delegitimize the millennia-long Jewish history with the land called Israel.”
Some do not and in a December 22, 2011 article for Relevant magazine, Wheaton College student Andrew Haas revealed just how far classic PLO propaganda has infiltrated evangelicalism:
A cartoon depicting the Three Wise Men unable to enter Bethlehem due to Israel's security fence.
A cartoon depicting the Three Wise Men unable to enter Bethlehem due to Israel’s security fence.
“Had Jesus been born in Bethlehem today, the nativity scenes that adorn the numerous American church and parish lawns would look quite different if genuinely politically correct. Mary and Joseph, probably too poor to pay local taxes on a vehicle, would be forced to ride Palestinian local transit. The bus would drop them off outside the West Bank at an Israeli checkpoint. From there they’d walk through a maze of turnstiles and security posts into Bethlehem. If their identity card read ‘Israeli citizen,’ there is some question whether the expectant couple would even be allowed into the sleepy hamlet based on current law. Replace the donkeys, sheep and mules with taxis, buses and heavily armed checkpoints.”
Haas went on to write:
“If God’s son had been born into the sleepy hamlet today, He’d be without citizenship. Palestine is still a territory, not a country. Considered to be a security threat from birth, He’d receive his green Palestinian ID at the age of 16. Without authorization granted only by the Israeli government, He would be prohibited from crossing the wall into Jerusalem only 15 minutes away. Permits are difficult to acquire, and often only last one to five months. His inability to travel past a wall four times the height of Shaquille O’Neal would prove a slight obstacle for a Gospel destined for the world.
“Inside Bethlehem, Jesus and His parents could still practice carpentry. Many men work in factories producing lovely carvings from the treasured olive tree. Yet, His olivewood carvings would collect dust in shops that tourists are often too afraid to enter.”
This attempt to compare the gospels with Palestinian liberation theology used to exist only in liberal seminaries. Now it is becoming mainstream within evangelicalism.
British writer Paul Wilkinson is also very familiar with this type of anti-Israel agenda:
“The portrayal of the Lord Jesus Christ as a Palestinian refugee who lived under military occupation has, in recent years, been used as a powerful propaganda weapon against Israel by an increasing number of pro-Palestinian Evangelicals. This blasphemous depiction of Jesus ominously echoes what Palestinian authors, clerics, and political leaders have been saying publicly of late in a brazen attempt to claim Christ as one of their own. By propagating their Islamicized version of ‘replacement theology’ (now rebranded ‘fulfillment theology’ or ‘messianic fulfillment’ by leading pro-Palestinian Evangelicals such as Stephen Sizer and Gary Burge), Islamic scholars have endeared themselves to many in the Church who have cast off the restraint of God’s Word and God’s Spirit. The forging of unholy Evangelical-Muslim alliances in the name of ‘dialogue’ and ‘bridge-building’ is reminiscent of the unholy alliance which suddenly developed between Herod and Pilate during the trial of Jesus – they were sworn enemies who united against a common enemy; today the common enemy is Israel. Like the false prophets of old who prophesied lies in God’s Name, pro-Palestinian Evangelicals, or ‘Christian Palestinianists’ as we might call them, are running with a message they believe is from God, but God has not sent them, for they have not stood in His council (Jeremiah 23:9-32).”
Vida Valesco, who serves as Central Region High School Program Coordinator for StandWithUs, also battles historical revisionism, and she has a ready answer:
“It is so clear all over the Word that God has a special place in His heart for His people [the Jews]. We should be grateful to the Jewish people for the Messiah, who is from House of David. He lived a Jewish life, a rabbi here on earth. All the disciples were Jewish!”Jim Fletcher is a writer, researcher, and pro Israel activist. MORE GREAT INSIGHTS FROM JOHN McTERNAN INCLUDING ISRAEL'S ATTEMPTS TO RE-BUILD THEIR HOLY TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM!!

Abbas: Israel Seeks to Build Holy Temple Instead of Al-Aqsa

                               Verse of the Day

Zechariah 12:3  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Dome of the Rock sits where the coming Jewish temple to be built
Dome of the Rock sits where the coming Jewish temple to be built in Jerusalem
With all the war preparations going on in the Middle East, once again Jerusalem comes to the forefront. Somehow all that is happening is going to focus on Jerusalem. This city is going to be the focus of the Muslims in their all-out war with Israel. It is amazing how Jerusalem can be under the radar for a while, and suddenly, it is the center of attention. I keep you on the cutting edge of what is happening with Jerusalem. This city is ground zero for Bible prophecy.
“Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel of trying to “destroy” the Al-Aqsa Mosque by allowing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. In aninterview he gave on Thursday to the Saudi-based Al-Watan newspaper, Abbas said that “the Al-Aqsa Mosque is in danger,” claiming that Israel prevents PA Arabs from praying at the mosque, while allowing “extremist Jews” to worship there. This, he claimed, is proof that Israel has a “malicious” and dangerous plan to destroy the mosque and rebuild the “false” Holy Temple in its place, as he put it.”
May the Holy God of Israel bless and protect you.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Hard Left Watch

Crowd stunned after valedictorian rips up speech, recites Lord’s prayer 06/05/13 We need more Christians with faith like this: pastors are you listening?
“The act was apparently in protest of the Pickens County School District’s decision to no longer include prayer at graduation ceremonies, Christian News reported. Officials said the decision was made after the district was barraged with complaints by atheist groups.”

‘Cutest Couple’ at Carmel High School is 2 boys 06/04/13 This mentality is now rampant throughout America. God is giving the youth and the entire nation over to homosexuality.

Israel and the Middle East War

Syria levels warning at Israel in wake of Qusair victory 06/05/13 This is Syria’s downfall when they take on Israel. How far away can this war be?
“The victory that was achieved at the hands of our brave soldiers sends a clear message to all those who are involved in the aggression against Syria, on top being the Zionist enemy and its agents in the region and tools on the ground,” the General Command said. “Our armed forces will remain ready to face any aggression against our dear homeland.”
Israel hit by missiles from Syria as civil war flares in Golan Heights 06/06/13 The Syrian border could ignite WW3. All the Muslim groups want to fight Israel and it cannot be too long until war breaks out with Syria.
“Two missiles from Syria landed in Israel Thursday as fighting between President Bashar Assad’s forces and rebels raged on the Golan Heights. The Israel Defense Forces said that a “closed military zone” was declared near the Quneitra border crossing in response to the fighting. People were not being allowed inside the area and locals were warned not to work in the fields.”
Surge by Iran-Hizbullah-Syria axis stuns Israeli intelligence community 06/07/13 No matter what way this turns, it is war. If the Sunnis win, it is the Muslim Brotherhood. If Assad wins, he is in a confederation with Iran and war with Israel.
”"[W]hat we need is a willingness to put something on the line in helping the situation. Putting something on the line might mean alienating a domestic constituency of tremendous political and financial import; it may more crucially mean sacrificing — or investing, I think, more than sacrificing — billions of dollars, not in servicing Israel’s military, but actually investing in the new state of Palestine, in investing the billions of dollars it would probably take, also, to support what will have to be a mammoth protection force …”
“There will be no peace without Jerusalem,” he emphasized. “There will be no Palestinian state without Jerusalem. There will be no security and stability withoutJerusalem. They mention Bethlehem, Ramallah, Hebron. These cities are all dear to our hearts. But our capital is Jerusalem.”
Deputy defense minister: This government will block any two-state deal 06/06/13 There appears a hardening now in Israel against a Palestinian state. What is left is the all-out war that Obadiah writes about.

Russia permanently deploys Navy in Mediterranean 06/07/13 I have a feeling after this coming war is over, that Russia is not going to have a fleet.

Islam and IslamoFascism/Jihad

“Captives of political correctness, our governments cater to radical immigrant tantrums as our leaders contort the truth to deny the existence of Islamist terrorism. Meanwhile, our Middle Eastern “allies” and foes alike eradicate thousands of years of Jewish and Christian heritage. Our diplomats treat the persecution as a minor embarrassment, best ignored.”
North Korean officers join Assad’s forces 06/03/13 This is a like a tiny preview of the armies from the east gathering in Israel for the battle of Armageddon. All evil will be drawn to Israel.
Egypt’s gathering economic gloom leaves millions facing food shortages 06/06/13 The Muslim Brotherhood is now in charge of Egypt. The Brotherhood wants to destroy Israel and make Jerusalem the capital of an Islamic caliphate. It appears the full curse of trying to destroy Israel is now resting on Egypt. According to the Bible, this nation has no hope nor a future.

Tel Aviv celebrates gay pride festival with record-breaking participation of 100,000

Commentary By: Gordon King
What does God think about all of this?  I bet he is extremely angered!  Especially with his own chosen people, Israel.  This is one sure sign that we are living in the end times!

Tel Aviv hosted its 15th annual Gay Pride Festival on Friday, with a record-breaking 100,000 spectators and participants attending the celebrations, including droves of tourists from all over the world.

The Festival began at 10 a.m. at Gan Meir park, home to the city’s gay community center, and featured performances, speeches and music. A massive parade of tens of thousands of participants started at 1 p.m., making its way from the park through central Tel Aviv and culminating at the iconic Gordon Beach.
Attendees at the event included Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, Minister of Culture and Sport Limor Livnat, Labor party chief Shelly Yachimovich and Meretz head Zahava Gal-on.
Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai kicked off the festivities with a speech that reflected on the journey since the first annual Pride Parade, which he emceed in 1998.
Yesh Atid party head Lapid’s speech in Gan Meir was cut short due to heckling which he attributed on his Facebook page to rival Meretz and Labor activists.
In a few short sentences, the finance minister managed to convey his sentiments that every couple, gay or straight, has the right to get married and have children. He also spoke to his Yesh Atid party’s “deep indebtedness” to the LGBT community.
Also addressing the crowd, US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro conveyed warm wishes from President Barack Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry and the American people.
“There’s no better place to celebrate than in Tel Aviv, the friendliest city in the world to the LGBT community,” he said.
“We learned from Israel to let our troops serve in the military without having to hide who they love,” Shapiro added. “We’re not done yet, there is still much to be done.”
Thousands of tourists flocked over the past week to Tel Aviv, which has featured large-scale parties and functions all leading up to Friday’s main event. Among the notable foreign visitors, the first gay couple to legally marry in France were in town to celebrate their nuptials and join in the festivities.
Sections of Tel Aviv’s Ben-Yehuda, Bograshov and Arlozorov streets, among others city streets, were closed to traffic.
Gay Pride week was marred, however, by significant developments this week in a 2009 unsolved shooting that targeted a gay youth club.
Police announced Wednesday that three men were arrested in connection to the shooting that claimed two lives and injured several others, and a fourth person of interest was later detained and held for questioning. Police imposed a gag order on the identity of all of the suspects and details regarding motive for the attack.
The fourth arrestee was described by police as “a prominent member of the gay and lesbian community,” who is suspected of withholding information in connection to the case, but is not thought by authorities to have been involved directly in the shooting. The man is “a key figure” in solving the case, which police now think was motivated by reasons of personal revenge, not anti-gay sentiment. Police also suspect him of sexual offenses which have not been detailed.
Some Israeli journalists raised questions about the timing of the arrests — two days before Tel Aviv’s Pride festival — and dismissed the idea that the murder wasn’t a hate crime.
Speaking during Friday’s Pride Parade, Justice Minister Livni charged, “If this isn’t a hate crime, tell me what it is.”
Gal Uchovsky, a gay-culture journalist, wrote on the Channel 2 News website that an incident in which an individual walks into a gay youth center and shoots people is still a hate crime, even if his motives were personal. Uchovsky wrote that it was “conspicuous” that police made the arrest in the middle of Gay Pride week and that they were trying to portray the shooting as a personal vendetta and not a hate crime. “I call this a stain on the gay community,” he wrote.
Another journalist, Danny Zack, complained that the police were being too lax because they believed “it wasn’t a Palestinian terrorist or an Orthodox Jew” who committed the crime, meaning it didn’t have a nationalistic motivation, he wrote on the Channel 2 News website.
Activists familiar with the identity of the fourth man told Ynet news they were shocked that he was a suspect in the case. “He was a father figure to us,” one of the activists said, explaining that the man had arrived at the center shortly after the shooting to try to help, and that he expressed concern that the shooter would be let off the hook by pleading insanity.
“If it was really him,” another activist said, “he must have been suicidal.” The suspect was a volunteer at the center who supported many of the youths, he said, and has a large heart.
The suspect’s lawyer said Thursday that his client was innocent of any connection with the affair, and was a “normal, responsible adult with no criminal record” who had been turned into “another victim of this difficult case.”
The lawyer added that his client was not in the venue at the time of the attack and stressed that he was not suspected of being in any way involved in the killing.
The three suspects arrested Wednesday, who, police said, are Jewish, were remanded for 11 days.
Channel 2 reported that one of the suspects was a 20-year-old “petty criminal” from Pardes Katz. He would have been 16 at the time of the shooting.
Two of the suspects are related.
On August 1, 2009, a masked man entered the Bar Noar gay youth center on Tel Aviv’s Nahmani Street and began shooting. Counselor Nir Katz, 26, and 16-year-old Liz Trubeshi were killed and dozens were injured. Approximately 40 people were present at the center that night.
The case has been one of the most expensive investigations carried out in recent years and more than 1,000 people have been questioned in connection with the shootings, Haaretz reported.
In recent years, Tel Aviv has consistently been rated by online travel guides as a top gay destination. The city has been praised for its friendliness to the LGBT community and is widely considered to be the only gay-friendly destination in the Middle East.
