Now police launch terror probe into Iran embassy after it urges Iranians to become martyrs
The Metropolitan Police has launched an investigation into Tehran's embassy's call for Iranians in the UK to "sacrifice their lives for the homeland".
On Monday, it was reported the embassy's Telegram channel uploaded a message calling for Iranians living abroad to become martyrs for the regime. Counter terrorism police are now assessing the post, which even urged children to join the cause, to evaluate if action is required.
The Foreign Office also summoned Iran's ambassador to Britain to discuss the post, which encouraged people to sign up to the "janfada", or self-sacrifice, campaign. Middle East Minister Hamish Falconer told the ambassador, Seyed Ali Mousavi, the comments were "completely unacceptable".
He also said the embassy must "cease any form of communications that could be interpreted as encouraging violence". The Government has said it will "take all measures" to protect Britons, adding it will continue to call out Iran's "brutal and repressive regime".
The post to in the Telegram channel, endorsed by the Iranian embassy, read: "All brave and distinguished children of Iran are invited to participate consciously and register in this campaign, adding another golden page to the book of honours of this ancient land and demonstrating that their hearts are bound to the dignity and greatness of their homeland." Modern Israel is a miracle. When Mark Twain visited there in the 1800s, he left thinking it was the most miserable place on the face of the earth. The Ottoman Turks let it deteriorate into a barren wasteland. But when you visit Israel today, you see anything but barrenness. Israel is thriving. It has blossomed into a country with an economy much of the world envies. Why? Because God has His hand on the little Jewish nation and is using it—as He promised—to bless the world.
Innovation
Innovation drives much of Israeli society. Years ago, I toured a seed company in Israel that focuses on developing new foods and finding ways to produce more fruits and vegetables. The company understands the global need to feed the hungry.
The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) released a wonderful documentary called To Life: How Israeli Volunteers Are Changing the World. The film shows how Israel is not merely bettering its own country but helping the rest of the world, as well. The film follows six Israeli organizations working outside Israel to make the world a better place.

Most people in America are against the war with Iran, as they are in Britain, too.
Very few, however, actually understand why this war is as necessary as it is unavoidably complex.
Few seem aware that Iran has been actively at war against America for the past 47 years. Few seem to grasp that Iran’s fanatical Islamic regime has killed hundreds of U.S. servicemen, perpetrated numerous attacks on U.S. bases, committed countless terrorist atrocities and taken Americans hostage.
Few grasp that U.S. and Israeli intelligence had discovered that Iran was poised to create both a nuclear bomb and a missile arsenal so enormous and so buried underground that no one would ever be able to tackle the mortal threat posed by the regime.
