ISIS celebrates terror attacks in New York/New Jersey: Supporters of the Islamic State rushed to celebrate Saturday night’s powerful explosion in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood that injured at least 29 people, even as no group or individual has been arrested or claimed responsibility. Pro-Muslim liberal mayor of New York assures residents there is 'no evidence of terror attack': Let's file this one in the "special kind of stupid" category, shall we? “The lions of the Caliphate roar in New York, we cause you pain inside your house, the carrier of the Cross,” wrote one Twitter user who went by the name “I am ISIS, come and block me.” The account was soon suspended. Another, called “The Lone Wolves,” tweetedwith the Arabic hashtag #ExplosionManhattanNewYork “Oh God burn America, take revenge in the name of your oppressed slaves and believers’ blood.” Others tweeted about “good tidings that keep coming” from New York, and one useraffiliated with al-Qaeda in Syria tweeted: “Oh God go against America, the head of infidels. Oh God, count them and kill them one by one, and do not spare anyone of them.” NYC TERROR ATTACK 9/17: What We Know So Far The hashtag #ExplosionManhattanNewYork was popular among other Arab users, mostly from Saudi Arabia, who don’t seem to be affiliated with terror groups but still criticized America, Vocativ found. One user said “ISIS is an American product, their goods come back to them.” Another wrote: “This is all your doing Mister Obama, you are the reason for the spread of ISIS in the region. I wish you would listen to the words of King Abdullah and his warning for the Arabs from ISIS.” Terror Attack In Minnesota: A man in a private security uniform stabbed eight people at a Minnesota shopping mall, reportedly mentioning Allah and asking at least one victim if they were Muslim before an off-duty police officer shot and killed him, authorities said. All eight victims were treated at a hospital for wounds that weren't life-threatening, St. Cloud police Chief Blair Anderson said at a news conference. A St. Cloud Hospital spokeswoman, Chris Nelson, said five of the eight were released and three remain hospitalized. No further details of their conditions were released. Terror Attack In New York: Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Sunday a blast that injured 29 people in Manhattan was caused by some kind of bomb, but the attack didn’t appear to be linked to international terrorism. Cuomo, speaking near the scene of the Saturday night blast, told reporters a second device found blocks away from the first explosion appeared “similar in design” to the first, though investigators are still testing its remnants after it was removed by a bomb squad robot and blown up at a police facility in the Bronx. Terror Attack In New Jersey: Authorities evacuated dozens of homes for hours after a pipe bomb exploded in a Jersey Shore town Saturday morning where thousands of people were about to participate in a charity 5K race to benefit Marines and sailors. Investigators said they would not rule out terrorism as a possible cause. No injuries were reported in the blast in Seaside Park around 9:30 a.m., officials said. The third annual “Semper Five” run was canceled. The pipe bomb was in a plastic garbage can when it exploded. Authorities immediately cleared the boardwalk and beach area and bomb-sniffing dogs were being used to search the area. Investigators found other devices “wired together” in the same garbage can that did not detonate, a spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office told the Newark Star-Ledger. “We’ve evacuated within a four-block perimeter,” spokesman Al Della Fave told the Star-Ledger. “Traffic into Seaside Park is closed, but (motorists) are allowed to go to Seaside Heights.”  Officials said runners were expected to pass by the area around the time the blast occurred, but the start of the race had been delayed after an unattended backpack was found.
