REPORTS TODAY INDICATE LEAH SHARIBU WAS KILLED Leah Refused to Take the Mark of the Beast We learned difficult news about Leah Sharibu—the 16-year-old kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirl who refused to renounce her faith in Christ.  Leah refused to the say the Shahada--the mark of the beast.  Since February 19, 2018, Leah has been a captive of Boko Haram islamic militants. THE SHAHADA THE MARK OF THE BEAST Revelation 13:8 (NIV) All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. Reports are circulating that Leah has been killed in captivity.  However, we want to be clear that these disturbing reports are unconfirmed.  In any event, Leah has remained faithful to Jesus. For 522 days, many have prayed daily for Leah’s safe return. Truly, as the apostle Paul writes, when one part of the body suffers, we all suffer (1 Cornithians 12:26). The truth of Jesus is here:   Revelation 13:9-11 (NIV) Whoever has ears, let them hear.  “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.”  This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
