A judge today sentenced convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein to 23 years in prison, but something tells me he is not going to serve anywhere near that amount of time. Why? Because Harvey Weinstein was the darling of Liberal society not only in Hollywood but in Washington as well. 23 years in prison gives Harvey Weinstein a lot of time to think, and reflect, and...write his memoirs.
Harvey Weinstein gave Democratic politicians like Bill and Hillary Clinton millions of dollars, Meryl Streep called him 'God', and Michelle Obama glowingly praised him as a 'good friend and wonderful human being', and all this while everyone
knew what he dd behind closed doors. The fact that Harvey Weinstein was a serial assaulter was an open secret, and him being sentenced to prison will not satisfy the keepers of the

Harvey Weinstein Has Been Sentenced To 23 Years In Prison For Rape And Sexual Assault
FROM BUZZFEED NEWS: Miriam Haley and Jessica Mann, the two women whose harrowing testimonies got Harvey Weinstein convicted, gave emotional victim impact statements in court before Judge James Burke delivered his sentence. Harvey Weinstein also addressed the court, saying he was "remorseful" but then went on to talk about his charitable deeds.
Harvey Weinstein was facing a maximum of 29 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of first-degree criminal sex act and third-degree rape on Feb. 24. They acquitted Harvey Weinstein on the most serious charges of predatory sexual assault that carried a possible life sentence.
Haley is a former production assistant who
testified that Harvey Weinstein forcibly performed oral sex on in 2006. Mann, a former aspiring actor, gave
horrific testimony about how Harvey Weinstein raped her in 2013 during a years-long abusive and degrading relationship. Haley, who broke down Wednesday while talking about the impact Harvey Weinstein's sexual assault had on her life, said he was "completely disconnected from the gravity of the crimes" he had committed against her and other women.
She asked the judge to impose a sentence that was "long enough for him to acknowledge what he has done to me and others and to be truly sorry."
