As Christians, we need to do more than simply 'resist and fight' against, we need to be Christians proclaiming the gospel of the grace of God right up to the very end.
Here in the time of the great COVID-19 global lockdown in the year 2020, we find ourselves in the curious position of mirroring the apostle Paul. Paul presided over the start of the Church Age, and because of the persecution by both the Jews and the Romans, found himself in direct opposition to the government of his day, and he paid the ultimate price. We who are born again Christians today find ourselves at the end of the Church Age, and awaiting the persecution from the New World Order as it continues to rise.
The apostle Paul has not only a 'message' to give us to guide us through the coming murky end times waters, he has the God-approved way through to ultimate victory. We would do well to heed his words.
"And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God." Acts 20:22-24 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at the closing days of the ministry of God's chosen leader for the Church Age, Paul, and the critical and crucial message he has for us in the end times we are in right now. With each passing day, it is obvious to the persistent observer that the spirit of darkness that has risen alongside the COVID-19 pandemic does indeed portend the arrival of the end times.
Things will not be going 'back to normal', and when they vaccine becomes mandatory, the fur will really fly. The 'new normal' is a terrifying prospect, but God will make us ready to face it if we will listen to His instructions.
