It is time to not only boycott basketball, but to turn off and stop watching every professional sporting event that is broadcast across America. Look at the hatred in the faces of these privileged, rich Liberals who have nothing but hatred and contempt for the country that made them wealthy bouncing a ball. They want real change? I say America turns them off starting immediately, and let's see them have to get real jobs and actually have to work for a living.
I am not a basketball fan, but I did grow up watching the Yankees and Steelers play, and used to enjoy that very much. But here in our woke year, I will not be watching one minute of any game that's played, and I urge everyone reading this to do the same. Remember when Target tried to push dress wearing men in the ladies room and Christians across America boycotted Target
to the tune of $10,000,000,000.00 dollars. We need to do the same with professional basketball, football, baseball and any other sport that is now nothing more than a platform for radical black supremacists to wage war on America.
All NBA players kneel for national anthem as league resumes play
FROM ORLANDO SENTINEL: All players competing in the first game of the NBA restart took a knee and locked arms during a recording of the national anthem Thursday night at ESPN Wide World of Sports. The New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz wore Black Lives Matter warm-up shirts and were joined by coaches and game officials, who also knelt for the anthem. Some players raised fists in the air, while others closed their eyes and bowed their heads.
The league has vowed to make fighting racial injustice the focus of the NBA restart, painting "Black Lives Matter" on every court and giving players the option to have anti-racism phrases displayed on their jerseys.
Before the anthem played, various players spoke without their faces being featured on the TNT broadcast screen, sharing their commitment to fighting police brutality and other forms of racial inequality.
“We will turn pain into progress,” one player vowed. Another added, “Things aren’t going back to normal until things change.”
Minutes before tipoff, the TNT broadcast team reacted to the anthem protest.

Nice to see,” former Orlando Magic star Shaquille O’Neal said on TNT. “Again, when you have your platform, I think it’s very important that you speak up, very important that you speak your mind. But when you talk about changes, also you have to talk about protocol. So we use our voice to raise awareness, now we have to go vote. We have to vote our mayors in — our mayors appoint chiefs of police. We have vote senators and politicians. It doesn’t just stop with sending out a tweet or just yelling all the time. We have to continue to fight, continue the movement. ... I’m proud of everyone.”
Fellow former NBA star and TNT analyst Charles Barkley said it was important to give players freedom to react however they preferred to the anthem.
“The national anthem means different things to different people,” he said. “I’m glad these guys are unified. If people don’t kneel, they’re not a bad person. I want to make that perfectly clear. I’m glad they had unity, but if we have a guy who doesn’t want to kneel because the anthem means something to him, he should not be vilified.”
Soon afterward the focus shifted back to basketball, with star Zion Williamson starting for the Pelicans despite previous injury concerns. The league officially resumed play inside a bubble environment at Disney World for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic shut down play in March.
