The bomb cyclone that has killed more than 60 people in the US is set to spark heavy rain and flooding in the UK.
The storm across the North Atlantic sent temperatures plunging in the US and has now triggered a yellow weather warning over Scotland for heavy rain.
The warning is in effect from 3am on Friday December 30 for 15 hours in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.
