SIX DEAD AFTER RUSSIA STRIKES PRESIDENT ZELENSKY'S HOME CITY OF KRYVYI RIH
- Russia has been accused of a "massive missile attack" on several civilian buildings in Kryvyi Rih - the home city of President Volodymyr Zelensky
- At least six people died and several others were injured, officials say - and pictures show a five-storey apartment block with smashed windows and smoke rising
- A drone attack in Kharkiv has also been reported - though Russia has not yet commented on the alleged strikes
- The latest hostilities come after Kyiv's counter-offensive against Russian forces got under way - with the Ukrainians saying their troops have recaptured seven settlements
- Elsewhere, the Russian defence ministry has shared footage purporting to show the capture of Western-made military vehicles that were provided to the Ukrainian army
- And the UN has warned of an impact on global food security as a result of the flooding of important Ukrainian farmland by last week's breach of the Kakhovka dam.
