Is the world heading toward WWIII with Ukraine as the spark?
War may be breaking out in the Ukraine, but will it actually happen?

While the situation in the Ukraine spirals seemingly out of control, the world tries to make sense of it. The problem is that most are looking to politicians to find some sense, which is a problem in and of itself. Rarely do politicians ever speak the truth or make sense and that is especially true of those on the left.
We’ve got President Obama and John Kerry issuing harsh words to Putin who seems completely unconcerned. In fact, Russia has already sent a few thousand troops into the area of Crimea, and strategically placed ships in the Black Sea, and has plans for other things as well. In essence, Putin has no intention of letting Ukraine join the European Union (EU) if he has anything to say about it.
With all due respect to the politicians who are attempting to “lead” our nation from behind, it needs to be clearly stated that it looks like much of the world could be dragged into nothing less than World War III. We have recently learned that Russia and China are now in agreement over Ukraine.
The bulk of Russian troops are stationed in the Crimea area of Ukraine. They are insisting that Ukrainian troops stand down and give up. “Ukrainian prime minister Arseny Yatseniuk has insisted his country ‘will never give up Crimea to anyone’ and urged Russian forces to withdraw.” With all the rhetoric from numerous sides, something has to give. The question of course, is what? At the same time, Russian leaders are denying that they have given an ultimatum to Ukrainian armed forces in Crimea.
This situation is affecting nations economically as well. Both the stock exchange in Russia and its banks have been impacted, with the stock exchange taking a dive of 10% and banks raising interests rates from 5.5 percent to 7 percent.
This march toward war is a situation reminiscent of the situation in Syria, when at one point, it appeared likely that Russia was going to enter the fray and China was also making rumblings of war as well. While that situation cooled a bit, the same cannot be said for the events in Ukraine that may be forcing nations into position for an all-out war.
There are eight nations in the G8, with Russia being one of them. The seven stood together to issue a statement that states, “We, the leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States and the President of the European Council and President of the European Commission, join together today to condemn the Russian Federation’s clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”
If this is all the world is going to do – spew verbiage – then it is understandable why Putin would be indifferent. At the same time, if he fully believes Russia has the right to protect areas of the world that have Russian interests at heart, then mere words will continue to have no effect. Putin will continue to do what he wants to do.
However, it appears that U.S. warships and NATO troops are moving into the Ukraine (or Ukrainian waters) to take up positions against Russian troops. “Along with US warnings to Moscow, a high alert was secretly declared Saturday by the US Mediterranean Sixth Fleet. Two US warships which had been deployed in the Black Sea to back up Russian security for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi – the USS Taylor Frigate and the USS Mount Whitney Blue Ridge-class command ship – have moved over to the western side of the Black Sea opposite Crimea and facing the Russian navy base of Sevastopol.”
Even though Ukrainian troops number into the 160,000, most agree that they are no match for Russian fire power and military might. Beyond this, with the recent turnover of political leaders in the Ukraine, it is unknown “where the loyalties of its officers lie, whether with the new pro-European regime or the absconding pro-Russian president, Viktor Yanukovych.”
It is also interesting to note that “Moscow, while insisting that its military actions were not an invasion but a legal bid to protect its interests, has also moved to offset any financial assistance the West may offer Kiev. Russia’s energy giant Gazprom bluntly warned Kiev that it had accumulated a ‘huge’ debt of $1.5 billion for natural gas that needed to be urgently paid if the supply is to continue.”
Recently, Secretary of State John Kerry indicated that the U.S. was going to provide one billion dollars in loan guarantees to the Ukraine. This would (with other loans) ostensibly cover Ukraine’s debt to Russia. This is, by the way, how the Global Elite (GE) works and it began with Mayer Rothschilds who began loaning money to countries and became exceedingly wealthy because of it. He had realized that putting a country in debt to him allowed him to call many of the shots. That country became beholden to Rothschilds.
Since Putin is not part of the GE, but it is clear that this same GE wants Ukraine to become part of the European Union (EU), they are willing to help Ukraine pay off their debt to Russia by simultaneously causing Ukraine to become indebted to the GE (through countries like the U.S.). In that way, they hope to defeat Putin and gain access to Ukraine.
We’ll see how far this plot to start WWIII goes. It may turn out to be nothing, but that depends upon how far Putin is willing to go.
