The false prophets are excited, another 'blood moon' is scheduled to appear in the skies on July 27th.
The latest member to board the biblical illiteracy club is post toastie false teacher Paul Begley. He has made
a video breathlessly warning about the upcoming 'blood moon' and the myriad apocalyptic signs that will be attached to it. But rest easy, Christian, Begley's prophecy, along with those of failed predictors like
Irwin Baxter,
Stephen Fletcher,
John Hagee,
Mark Biltz,
David Meade in 2017,
David Meade in 2018, and all the others, will come to naught.
A simple look at the book of Joel and taking that prophecy we find there in context, rightly divided, show a 100% impossibility of the upcoming orange moon on July 27th having anything to do with the Bible. Take a look.
"And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come." Joel 2:30,31 (KJV)
Joel is talking about a very specific period of time known as
the time of Jacob's trouble. The events that he sees through the eye of prophecy, revealed to him by the LORD, will take place at the Battle of Armageddon at the Second Coming of King Jesus and His Army made of up raptured Church soldiers.
Furthermore, you will note that Joel is not telling us that the moon will turn orange, or red, or any color at all. Joel is telling us, if you can believe it and I do, that the moon will turn into blood. Not blood colored, but it will become a ball of glowing blood.
It was God's Blood that was shed on Calvary so that we might have
complete forgiveness of our sins. And blood is all through the book of Revelation, everywhere you look. Don't believe me? Then you don't believe the Bible for I am quoting it.
"And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy."Revelation 16:4-6 (KJV)
"These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will." Revelation 11:6 (KJV)
In the time of Jacob's trouble, things are turning to literal blood all over the place. It's global war, and everything is saturated in blood. Antichrist and his hordes are obsessed with it, so Jesus lets them have it by the glassful instead of water. In Joel's prophecy, right before the appearance of King Jesus in the sky, the moon becomes a huge glowing ball of blood.
It is the sign of the Son of Man, literally and actually.
"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew 24:29,30 (KJV)
What can take away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What does Satan hate more than anything else? The blood of Jesus. What does the prophet Joel see in the sky at the Second Coming? He sees the moon, normally a beautiful, peaceful glowing orb, turning into a swirling pool of liquid blood. It's showtime.
But that time that Joel saw is not our time, not by a long shot.
FROM THE DAILY STAR: Preachers believe passages from the books of Acts and Revelation suggest the blood moon will accompany an ever-approaching
end of days. The 21st century's longest lunar eclipse will
last almost two hours on July 27 and the moon will have a spectacular red tinge. While stargazers enjoy the dazzling phenomenon, doomsdayers will be preparing for armageddon. The theory was originally made famous by Christian ministers John Hagee and Mark Biltz who said the ongoing "tetrad" – four consecutive lunar eclipses which began in April 2014 with six full moons in between – is the indicator of the end of earth as described in the Bible in Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12. However the tetrad ended in September 2014 and we're all still here. The end-of-days preachers insist some sort of tragic event is set to hit earth and possibly wipe it out.

Joel's blood moon prophecy takes place at the end of the time of Jacob's trouble. But before the time of Jacob's trouble can take place, the
Pretribulation Rapture of the Churchmust happen. Then the rise of Antichrist, followed by
a rebuilt Temple in Israel. Then Antichrist breaks the covenant three and a half years into it, and a three and a half year period of visible judgements in the form of Seals, Trumpets, and Vials must follow. Somewhere is all that chaos
the 144,000 are sealed by God and Moses and Elijah return as
the Two Witnesses and preach coming judgment for 3 and a half year period.
So, if you can cram all that into the next 5 days, then and only then will Paul Begley and all the other Post Trib 'blood moon' false prophets have a shot on July 27th.
