A man in the UK was arrested and banned from reading the Bible at St. Paul’s cathedral in London. He was later released and the ban rescinded, but has now given him a “limited” time in which he can preach: A Christian preacher says that he was banned and initially arrested for reading from the Bible.
Fears of persecution from Christians have arisen after the government of Chad, a nation whose population is near evenly split between Christians and Muslims installed a Sultan to rule over the Christians who are mostly located in the southern regions: Chadian authorities have installed a sultan in the south Moyen-Chari region, increasing fears of further persecution.
