After Afghanistan--what does Baal take next?
"He also gathers to himself all the nations and collects to himself all the peoples."
"His soul is not right within him"
They worship Baal thinking him to be God
Only Jesus Christ defeats the beast Do not lament the loss of Afghanistan to the Taliban and their spirit "Allah" they think is God. No human army on earth can defeat their spirit. No human army can defeat the beast of Revelation-Baal. Only the return of Jesus Christ will defeat the beast. Only Jesus gives living water and eternal life.
Revelation 19:19-21 (NIV) Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
Following the commands of the spirit they obey, the Taliban seized all of Afghanistan in just days. This spirit they serve wants to be God, but is not God. This spirit opposes Jesus Christ--the Son of God. This spirit has a mark, a flag with his name on it. This mark is the Shahada. This spirit has a false prophet, his name is Mohammad.
Pay attention to the prophecy of the spirit with the damaged soul from the prophet Habakkuk in chapter two, verse three: For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long. Habakkuk 2:3 (NASB) The word Taliban comes from tālib, or "student" in Arabic, as the group was started by Pakistani and Saudi Islamic religious school students in the mid-1990s. A Taliban is a student of the teachings of Baal, called "Allah" in the Qur'an. They have been deceived into thinking him to be God, but this powerful spirit is not God, but greatly desires to be God.
