A Biblical Perspective on the 12-Day War

A Biblical Perspective on the 12-Day War

Does the Bible prophesy anything concerning the 12-Day War between Israel and Iran?

Tim Moore: Hi, this is Tim Moore with Lamb & Lion Ministries. I’m coming to you from the Promised Land, well, not quite. I’m in Kentucky, although my heart is indeed in the Promised Land of Israel. I was supposed to go to Israel this past weekend. I’m recording this on Wednesday, June 18th. And on June 14th, I was due to lead a group of pilgrims to the Holy Land. But as you know, on Friday, June 13th or Thursday evening, June 12th, according to US time, Israel launched an attack on Iran.

Netanyahu: Today, the Jewish state refuses to be a victim of a nuclear holocaust perpetrated by the Iranian regime. Now, as Prime Minister, I’ve made it clear time and again, Israel will never allow those who call for our annihilation to develop the means to achieve that goal.

Three Chess Players at the Table: July 8 and the Gaza Ceasefire Gambit

By Tania Curado Koenig - https://watch.org/node/132816

Last night, beneath the chandeliers of the White House and behind sealed doors, three global actors — Qatar, Israel, and the United States — positioned themselves at a high-stakes chessboard. Each move made in silence; each silence calculated.

What began Monday evening was not just only diplomacy — it was a battle of timing, leverage, and spiritual alignment. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, having arrived in Washington early Monday morning, joined a private ceremonial dinner that evening hosted by President Donald Trump at the White House. The gathering was larger than initially reported. It was — even more than diplomacy — a strategic opening on a prophetic chessboard. Between the present were First Lady Sara Netanyahu, Ambassador Mike Huckabee (who spoke), Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During the evening, Prime Minister Netanyahu presented President Trump with a formal letter nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize. The message was unmistakable: this was not about policy — it was about positioning, covenant, and the weight of the hour.

Pragmatic Palestinians Pursue Peace with Israel, Calling for Formal Recognition of the Jewish State Under the Abraham Accords

“There will be no Palestinian state — not even in 1,000 years. After October 7, Israel will not give it.”

Those uncompromising words weren’t spoken by an Israeli official in the aftermath of Hamas’ attack nearly two years ago; they came from Sheikh Wadee’ al-Jaabari and four fellow Hebron sheikhs determined to shatter the long-standing notion of Palestinian nationalism.

On July 5, the sheikhs sent Economy Minister Nir Barkat a letter expressing Hebron’s wish to break away from the widely unpopular Palestinian Authority, establish an “Emirate of Hebron,” and formally recognize Israel as a Jewish state under the Abraham Accords—striking a blow to the antisemitic rallying cry, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.”
