"HASHKAMA 48 - THE BATTERED OF BRITAIN"! GOOD ARTICLE TO READ HERE!

Hashkama #48 - The Battered of Britain
Plans put in place have been mainly ineffective in battling the forces of nature as the rains come down and the floods come up. Environmental elites are incompetent, getting wrong most of the decisions they have made, according to the individuals that are suffering the consequences of flooded homes and communities. Reports state those men working at ground level are excellent and are working very hard to improve things, but they have to do what they are told by their bosses who are getting it horribly wrong. No-one will be surprised to hear me say this, but there are signs of God’s judgement. Man without God is incompetent because we are not living the way we were created to live – in fellowship and harmony with God.
In January of this year, David Silvester, a UKIP councillor in Henley-on-Thames, wrote to his local newspaper explaining how Britain’s recent spates of floods are David Cameron’s fault — because he has angered God with the Same Sex Marriage Bill. He told his local paper that‘storms, disease, pestilence and war’ were the consequences for ‘a Christian nation that abandons its faith and acts contrary to the Gospel’.
‘The scriptures make it abundantly clear that a Christian nation that abandons its faith and acts contrary to the Gospel (and in naked breach of a coronation oath) will be beset by natural disasters such as storms, disease, pestilence and war.
‘I wrote to David Cameron in April 2012 to warn him that disasters would accompany the passage of his same sex marriage Bill but he went ahead despite a 600,000-signature petition by concerned Christians and more than half of his own parliamentary party saying that he should not do so.’
‘Now, even as Cameron sheds crocodile tears on behalf of destitute flooded homeowners, playing at advocate against the very local councils he has made cash-strapped, it is his fault that large swathes of the nation have been afflicted by storms
‘He has arrogantly acted against the Gospel that once made Britain ‘great’ and the lesson surely to be learned is that no man or men, however powerful, can mess with Almighty God with impunity and get away with it, for everything a nation does is weighed on the scale of divine approval or disapproval’
What happened to David Silvester? He was suspended – not by a rope…maybe that’s to come! - by UKIP leader Nigel Farage,  who put winning the General Election above speaking the truth. Is it all down to Gay marriage? No, I don’t believe so. The introduction of the Gay marriage law is the result of a nation turning its back on God.
If this is God’s judgement, are things going to improve now, or will they get worse? What has happened so far could look trivial if what weather forecasters are predicting comes true. They are saying that worse storms than the Great Storm of 1987 are on the way to our already battered and beaten shores. The ‘Great Storm’ of 1987 happened during the night of 15th/16th October, hitting much of southern England and northern France. It was the worst storm to hit England for nearly three hundred years. There was mercy in judgement because, while a few deaths occurred, many more would have died had the storm hit during the day. Some fifteen million trees were uprooted. How deep are our roots in Christ? was a question asked at the time. The storm had an air pressure equal to that of a Category 3 hurricane. In 1987, prophetic voices spoke out, saying that it was God’s judgement. Did the nation heed the warnings? No! What are we to expect in the future? Read through the Book of Revelation and see man’s response to each judgement of God on the world. You will not rave about world-wide revival if you read and study the word of God for yourself. If you want to know where revival will break out, do a study of Israel in the End Times.
In 1987, a viewer called the BBC and asked if there was going to be a hurricane. Michael Fish, the weather-man of the day laughed off the suggestion. Within hours, South-East England was being battered by gusting winds up to 110mph. At least 17 people were killed and there was a £300 million trail of destruction from Cornwall to East Anglia. The Meteorological Office came under fire for its failure to predict the hurricane.
Other events in 1987 consisted of:
• Terry Waite, the Special Representative of the Archbishop of Canterbury, was taken hostage. He was in Beirut, negotiating for the release of foreign hostages held by Hezbollah.
• The cross channel ferry, The Herald of Free Enterprise, capsized off Zeebruge, leaving many dead. Safety regulations were ignored and a charge of ‘sloppiness from top to bottom’ was made.
• The bottom fell out of the Stock Market wiping off fifty billion pounds. The crash followed Wall Street’s panic performance and heavy selling in Tokyo. Shockwaves circumvented the world.
Plymouth
We all witnessed the railway line dangling suspended in the air as shown on TV. The cost of repairing the line alone is around £130,000,000. People are in despair.
Plymouth’s Bottomless Pit and the Gimme Gospel
Never fear, Rory and Wendy are here! God TV has staked a claim in Plymouth claiming the Christian heritage of the – Mayflower – (I nearly said Bismark, but wrong boat, wrong time, and the wrong nation, and oh, the Bismark sank). The thoughts going through my mind as Rory, Wendy and Benny were talking was that when the Mayflower set sail for America, God sailed off with it—but now, Rory and Wendy and God-TV are bringing Him back again!
Tactically, this was a smart move opening up in Plymouth, because it links Britain and the US where a lot of money still comes from. People will say that it costs money for such a set-up. I agree. People are being set-up – for their money!
The trio spoke about the great things God was going to do and that people should begin sending in their prayer requests right away. God is going to heal people with cancer and all types of things. What about the Christians of Plymouth? Have they been serving the Living God or not? Why can’t God work through them? Why does it have to be God TV? There is such spiritual poverty in Britain that people grab at a bit of excitement, especially if the name of Jesus is added to and invoked. That however does not make a thing Christian or Biblical. Quoting Scripture can be like handing out forged bank notes. If you don’t check it out you might be accepting a dud.
I watched the dedication programme of the former Millennium Complex nightclub on Union Street, on the God Channel last night. I missed the beginning and so did not hear Benny Hinn’s prophecy. I don’t know whether to feel sorry that I can’t quote his words to you, or glad that I don’t have to. But it was typical God TV proclaiming their‘Gimme Gospel’ (Gimme = Give me your money!)
The phone lines opened up and the giving game began – ‘planting seeds’ is what it’s called in Hinn lingo. This Gospel will go on and on being preached because the money goes into a bottomless pit, and the people will all say, Amen! The ceremony was well supported by Plymouth Churches Together; and I am likely to lose even more friends… But, the question being asked is that while Benny Hinn was busy prophesying, and Rory and Wendy Alec were making their proclamations about the great things God is going to do—the God that they intend to manipulate (if that were possible), was God in fact unleashing the four winds from His armoury and battering the surrounding area with great displeasure at these unholy shenanigans? It is a serious question, even if the churches in Plymouth do not want to ask it or answer it. The Western Morning News suggests that Devon and Cornwall could be cut off for up to six months because of the rail disaster. That means about one million people have lost their rail link. Apart from that, the storms have caused immense damage amounting to many millions of pounds. I mentioned in last week’s Hashkama that the day comes when God deals with the prosperity preachers and those that manipulate and use the people of God, as in the case of Eli’s sons, and the sons of Samuel. Is God calling these present day scoundrels to account? Have the smart-Alecs (a description they sometimes use about themselves) outsmarted themselves this time? Will Plymouth prove to be the end of the line for them?
They are following the pattern of King Herod. Herod didn’t have the money to do all that he wanted in his fine building, the Temple. So, he told people that if they donated money for his project, they could have their name, or if they gave more, the names of each family member inscribed on a piece of golden sculpture. You could have your name on the leaf of a vine; or the names of your family on a bunch of grapes. There is nothing new under the sun. The comedy in this story was that the gold vine in question was placed so high on the Temple door that people could not even see their names, let alone read them. Then there are the gimmicky things that Rory and Wendy are introducing to Plymouth; things like building an altar out of stones from Jerusalem. People need The Rock! Our faith is being tested in the physical through nature, and in the spiritual through false teaching and deception. Is our house (faith) built upon the Rock, or sand? There have always been spiritual charlatans, and sadly, there have always been those that follow them; there will be until our Lord returns.
Blessings and shalom,
Malcolm
