Activists from Palestine Action who 'caused £500,000 damage to factory supplying weapons to the Israeli army' will spend Christmas behind bars
- The four activists are accused of breaking into the plant in Presteigne, Wales
- Prosecutors say they used hammers and an angle grinder to smash their way in
- It's alleged they daubed the building in red paint and climbed onto the roof
- The Palestine Action members were remanded into custody over Christmas
Four protesters will spend Christmas behind bars after they were accused of causing £500,000 damage to a weapons factory which supplies the Israeli army.
Activists Susan Bagshaw, 65, Morwenna Grey, 41, Ruth Hogg, 39, and Tristan Dixon, 34, are in custody until the New Year after being accused of the raid on an American-owned plant.
Campaign group Palestine Action claimed responsibility for the siege at the Teledyne Labtech building in Presteigne, Mid Wales.
