Pastor John Hagee’s important message on Ukraine

Pastor John Hagee, the founder of Christians United for Israel (CUFI) released a video explaining his perspective on the situation in Ukraine and how it relates to other events around the world.

Pastor Hagee makes clear that the West must stand up to Putin’s tyranny or it risks destabilising other regions and could endanger Israel as the enemies of the Jewish state are bolstered by the weakness of America and Europe.

Pray for Israel as it condemns Russia’s actions

Until now, Israel has had to take a careful approach in commenting on the situation in eastern Europe, and has typically avoided criticising Moscow publicly. One reason is relating to Israel’s efforts to ensure the safety of Jews living in both Ukraine and Russia. But it is largely due to Russia’s presence in Syria and the delicate arrangement that allows Israeli military to fly over Syria unhindered by Russia.

But on Thursday, Israel made an unprecedented statement, rightly condemning Russia’s actions.

‘We need alot of heavenly help’ – Israel plans for land-evacuation of Jews from Ukraine

~ Prior to the invasion of Ukraine, Israel made arrangements with five bordering nations in preparation for the possibility of a huge land evacuation of Ukraine’s Jews, estimated to number from 150,000 to 200,000.

~ Over one hundred Ukrainian Jews have arrived in Israel in recent days.

Russian invasion shows why Iranian threat must be taken seriously

The situation in Ukraine is a reminder that threats from regimes such as Iran must be taken seriously. It is also a solemn lesson that Israel could potentially be required to defend herself alone in the event of an attack.

Iran will be watching Russia intently and could be feeling a sense of empowerment. Just in recent days Israel has pushed even harder and become even more vocal in opposition to the US returning to a deal with Iran.
