Commentary

The foundations of America are now destroyed. The most important thing to vast amounts of Americans are abortion, homosexuality and government handouts. The country seems to have spiritually died with the church nowhere to be seen. The idea of repentance and crying out to the Lord is just a foreign thought to the vast majority of believers. It appears to me that the nation is now sealed unto judgment with Obama as president. This is very sad to watch a nation die a slow painful death with such little response from God’s people.
This all seems behind me now as America is sealed. We can still grow in the Lord and win souls etc., but the nation succumbed to sin with the final blow being the re-election of Obama. If Romney won, the church would have continued asleep to what is happening. If there is any chance to awaken the church, maybe with persecution from Obama and the Hard Left, there might be the possibility of the real church crying out to God. I do not think it will take long now for the Hard Left to move on the church and anyone in their way.

As Obama promotes the abortion and homosexual agenda, terrible calamities are going to hit the country.

In New York state alone, Sandy inflicted about a $30 billion “economic loss,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo said.”
Cuomo to Seek $30 Billion in Aid for Storm Relief 11/12/12 On October 23, 2012, New York State courts sealed homosexual “marriage” as a right that cannot be challenged. On October 29, 2012, the state suffered $30 billion in damage from the worst disaster to ever hit the state. New York is going to pay a very steep price for violating God’s word about the sanctity of marriage.
“Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo plans to ask the federal government for at least $30 billion in disaster aid to help New York City and other affected areas of the state recover from the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, according to top administration officials.”
No matter what happens to the United States, we cannot stop being focused on the Lord Jesus and His coming for the church. It really does look like 2013 is going to be a troubling year from every angle. For those that are anchored in the Lord Jesus, we can remain in peace. The faith of many is going to be tested.
Hebrews 12:1,2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Israel and the Middle East War

I included many articles about Israel and the Middle East to give you the big picture of what is happening. The tension is once again very high.
Syria’s Assad warns of apocalyptic war 11/09/12 This shows that Assad is desperate and that he has the backing of both Iran and Russia. He would not say this nor would Syria fire into Israel, if Assad was not sure that he was backed by Russia. If Syria attacks Turkey, this could trigger a NATO response which in turn would trigger Russia to back Syria. This situation remains very dangerous.
“I do not think the West is going [to intervene], but if they do so, nobody can tell what is next. I think the price of this [foreign] invasion if it happened is going to be more than the whole world can afford,” Assad said in a Thursday interview with the Russia Today TV network.  Assad warned that the domino effect of any military attack on the country “will affect the world from the Atlantic to the Pacific and you know the implication on the rest of the world.”
Israel hits ‘source’ of second Syrian mortar shell 11/12/12 Israel is responding very aggressively. The next move is up to Assad.
“Israel fired at and struck two Syrian mortar launchers on Monday, following the second time in as many days that Syrian artillery shells exploded in Israeli territory. A tank from the 401 Armored Brigade fired at the Syrian targets in what was an escalated Israeli retaliation to Syrian fire. Unlike Sunday’s exchange, the IDF fired with the intention of hitting its target, as part of a new policy designed to deter Syrian forces from firing into Israel.”
Hamas: No Compromises With Israel on Anything, Ever 11/12/12 This is true to form with Hamas not to compromise with Israel and fight to the death. None of Hamas are going to survive this coming war.
Israel considering military response to Gaza rockets 11/12/12 This will ignite protests all over the world against Israel. If Israel does hit Gaza, it better be very hard and very fast.

“We’ll take whatever action is necessary to put a stop to this. This is not merely our right, it’s also our duty,” Netanyahu told a large meeting of foreign ambassadors in Ashkelon during the afternoon.”
Security and Defense: Preparing for the unexpected 11/01/12 The big problem for Israel will occur when Jordan falls to the Muslim Brotherhood.
“The IDF is intensively drilling the speedy deployment of its forces from the West Bank and Jordan Valley to potential war fronts, as the region continues to be shaken by deep instability. In every direction Israeli military planners look, new threats are emerging in varying degrees. On the Lebanese border, Hezbollah is constructing sophisticated subterranean rocket-launching sites and command and control centers. Ground forces will be required to take out these underground facilities in any future confrontation.”
Searching for a diplomatic formula with Iran, US weighs an expanded offer 11/09/12 This is really laughable but it is so serious. The US is now begging Iran over its nuclear weapons, when Iran has no intentions of slowing down or halting its program. Iran’s intentions are to create a nuclear weapon to attack Israel and nothing is going to slow this down. Iran wants the war so the Mahdi can come to power and Islam can conquer the world.
