Rockefeller Foundation President Starts Countdown
Rockefeller Foundation President Rajiv Shah told Bloomberg Television's David Westin a "massive, immediate food crisis" is on the horizon.
Shah provides what could be a timeline for the next global food crisis that could begin "in the next six months."

Civil unrest is spreading as food and fuel prices continue to skyrocket across the globe. (And we're only in April...) Right now, the world is still eating food from before the Russia-Ukraine war, which means food is still relatively abundant compared to where it's going from here.
Over the next few months, food scarcity will substantially worsen. Indonesia, for example, just declared a total ban on exports of palm oil, a key ingredient in thousands of grocery products sold around the world.
