Amongst the many current earthquakes ( and numerous volcanoes ) the one in Iran (the hostile enemy of Israel) grabbed my attention. The Scriptures directing our attention to the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus tell us that there will be earthquakes in various (or diverse) places.
In the last seven days alone there have been earthquakes from Iran to the USA, from New Zealand to Sumatra, and from Japan to even Guatemala there have been strong shakings. The most recent one in Iran yesterday killed five people with many more injured.
A 7.3 magnitude quake has struck off Japan's eastern coast (Thurs), triggering a tsunami warning and a one-metre wave that has hit Miyagi Prefecture. The wave hit the city of Ishinomaki, while the quake was also felt strongly in the capital, Tokyo.
The epicentre of the quake was about 245km (150 miles) south-east of Kamiashi at a depth of about 36km, the US Geological Survey said. Miyagi was hit by a devastating earthquake and tsunami in March 2011.
When you see these birth pangs happening, look up for your redemption draws ever nearer (Nev).
