Zechariah 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and againstJerusalem. Commentary
Once again Israel and Jerusalem are in focus. Muslims are making noise about destroying Israel and taking Jerusalem. The events in Syria are not letting up and the winner will want to destroy Israel. So there are no real winners in Syria.
The pope is visiting Israel this weekend, and I want to follow what he says and does very carefully. He is traveling with a rabbi and Imam to try and show unity. What a sad state of affairs, as it seems the pope and liberals cannot see Islam for what it is. They want unity in the worst way, when Islam wants to kill them and conquer the world!
If the pope wants unity with Islam, let him go to Mecca wearing a cross and see what happens to him!
It really is sickening to watch the West succumb to Islam. All the Muslims have to do is say peace and the West caves in.

Israel and the Middle East War
Syrian al Qaeda reach foothills of Israeli-held Golan 05/22/14 I still believe that the Muslim Brotherhood is going to win in Syria and help form the Islamic caliphate that will attack Israel in an attempt to kill all the Jews and take Jerusalem. This will bring an end to Islam as we know it, as the Holy God of Israel destroys this army and many Islamic nations.
What is happening is all explained in my book As America Has Done to Israel. The Bible lays out what is happening right up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

One of the men, a leader of al Qaeda's Nusra Front, compares their battlefield - a lush agricultural region where dead soldiers lie on the ground near a charred Soviet-era tank - with the struggle their comrades waged years ago in Afghanistan. "This view reminds us of the lion of the mujahideen, Osama bin Laden, on the mountains of Tora Bora," he can be heard saying in a video posted by the group, which shows the fighters in sight of Israeli jeeps patrolling the fortified frontier."
Who Are the Syrian Rebels - And Are They a Threat to Israel? 05/18/14 This is a great article and after reading it you will understand what is happening in Syria. These factions will all unite to attack Israel. This is the unifying factor for all of Islam: the destruction of Israel and taking Jerusalem.

Although the Syrian opposition is primarily comprised of Sunni Muslims (Syria's majority population), rebel battalions are far from ideologically homogeneous. That diversity is also reflected in (and often the direct result of) the respective groups' links to state and non-state actors outside of Syria - including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, western states and independent donors located largely in the gulf states."
Islamic extremism on rise in Jordan 05/18/14 The Syrian war is destabilizing Jordan with its 70 percent Palestinian. When Syria falls to the Muslim Brotherhood it Jordan will be next. According to the Bible, Jordan is part of Islam's last Jihad against Israel. Jordan does not survive the war against Israel.
"The second risk indicator on the Jordanian scene is the Sunni fundamentalists. Reports by various media outlets of the April 17 airstrike by Jordanian fighters on a Syrian opposition convoy transporting weapons to Jordan have become almost daily news for Jordanians. The council member said that, in Amman, there is talk about regular convoys that cross the border to Jordan from near Daraa in Syria, and those convoys are loaded with large quantities of weapons of all types. But who is behind these operations? According to him it is the Sunni Islamist fundamentalists, in particular groups affiliated with al-Qaeda or that aspire to be."
"With 69 percent of Greeks espousing anti-Semitic views, according to the survey, Greece was on par with Saudi Arabia, more anti-Semitic than Iran (56 percent) and nearly twice as anti-Semitic as Europe’s second-most anti-Semitic country, France (37 percent)."
Jerusalem Watch
"At a public rally organized by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Syria), or ISIS, the speaker pledges his allegiance to the group's leader, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, and reiterates ISIS's long-term vision for the region. "By Allah we will cleanse the Arabian Peninsula of you, you filth!" he declares, waving a sword, in a message to non-Muslims in the Middle East Focusing specifically on Israel, he vowed: "We shall conquer Jerusalem from you, oh Jews!"
"The settlements to be amalgamated into Jerusalem under the bill include the city of Ma’ale Adumim, Givat Ze’ev, the Gush Etzion bloc, and Beitar Illit, containing in total a population of over 150,000 Israelis. “This week we will celebrate ‘Jerusalem Day’ to mark 47 years of the unification of the city,” Katz (Likud) wrote in a Facebook statement. “This is the time to advance an initiative that will strengthen Jerusalem, expand its borders, and preserve its Jewish national character.”

"The Japanese government will take steps to exercise its right to so-called collective self-defense, allowing it to attack a third country when an ally is in some way under threat. The move is at odds with Japan' pacifist postwar constitution and has alarmed neighbors who recall the country's wartime aggression."
Financial Armageddon
"European Central Bank executive board member Peter Praet of Germany is expected to recommend that the bank cut its main refinancing rate from the current 0.25 percent to a record low of 0.15 percent when the bank's Governing Council meets on June 5."
Detroit not alone, expect more bankrupt cities: 05/22/14 Many cities are now on way down like Detroit. The cities are the centers for abortion and homosexuality and the judgment of the LORD is now hovering over them as well as the entire nation.
"Expect more U.S. cities to face bankruptcy like Detroit, former New York Lieutenant Gov. Richard Ravitch told CNBC's "Street Signs" Thursday. "There are many more [cities] that are facing enormous fiscal squeezes… who are cutting education, cutting infrastructure investments and borrowing as long as the bond market permits," he said.Ravitch, who is advising Detroit's bankruptcy judge, wrote about his prediction in an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal last week."We can expect to see more Detroits," he wrote."
