The women of ABC News' “The View” took a shot a Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday, mocking the former governor of Indiana for talking to Jesus and even calling it a “mental illness.”

EDITOR'S NOTE: The Bible says that believers in Jesus Christ will absolutely know and hear His voice, it's a precious promise to all of His born again redeemed followers. But to Joy Behar and others on The View, hearing from Jesus is a sign of 'mental illness'. Behar was mocking VP Mike Pence in particular, but it didn't stop there. She went on to take shots at Christians in general, and even at Jesus whom she accused of 'having a wife'. The hatred of Christians by the Liberal elites knows no bounds, none of any kind. She eventually apologized to Mike Pence, but as a coward in private would do. She did all her mocking on the air on The View, and any credible apology can only be done in the same forum. Call 800-230-0229 at ABC Studios and tell them that Joy Behar needs to apologize on the air to not only the vice president, but to Christians as well.
“As bad as you think Trump is, you would be worried about Pence… everyone that is wishing for impeachment might want to reconsider their life,” she said in the clip. “I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things.”
The talk-show panelists pondered what Omarosa’s motive was, before Sunny Hostin chimed in, “I think what’s interesting is that she said Jesus tells Mike Pence things to say.” Hostin declared that Pence is a “hated figure” in Indiana, claiming she knows firsthand because she attended law school in the state.
“He’s not very popular at all,” she said. “I think when you have a Mike Pence who now sort of puts this religious veneer on things and calls people ‘values voters,’ I think we’re in a dangerous situation.” (

Hostin said she is a “faithful” Catholic but doesn’t want her vice president “speaking in tongues.”
Joy Behar then said: “It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.” Behar said hearing voices is a “mental illness” before Sherri Shepard offered a limited defense of Pence.
Behar mocked Christians and Pence publicly on The View, but only apologized in private to the Vice President
Vice President Mike Pence told Fox News' Sean Hannity on Monday that ABC News star Joy Behar
called him to apologize for mocking his Christian faith -- and he urged her to apologize to “tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended” during the conversation.
Pence spoke on a range of topics including Behar’s recent comments -- which have led the Media Research Center to
launch a campaign to hold Behar accountable for spewing “anti-Christian bigotry” after she said that communicating with Jesus is a “mental illness” during a Feb. 13 episode of “The View.”
“I give Joy Behar a lot of credit. She picked up the phone. She called me. She was very sincere, and she apologized and one of the things my faith teaches me is grace; forgive as you've been forgiven,” Pence told Hannity.
Hannity told Pence that his faith also taught him to forgive but added, “I'm not as good at it as you.” While Pence forgave Behar, he encouraged her to publicly apologize.
“I'm still encouraging her, to use the forum of that program or some other public forum, to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended,” Pence said. “You and I know that criticism comes with public life,” Pence added. “But, I felt it was important that I defend the faith of tens of millions of Americans against that kind of slander.”
The vice president concluded his answer by saying that he hoped Behar "and others on the airwaves will come to appreciate the meaning and, if I could say it, the joy that comes from faith and respect that."
Behar’s call to Pence was undisclosed until Disney CEO Bob Iger was asked about the controversy during last week’s meeting with investors.
